1) What is the Loyal Citizen Program?

The Republic of Tea's Loyal Citizen program awards citizens with Tea Leaf Rewards, which can be used to redeem free products. The program is only available to Citizens who have an account at www.republicoftea.com. Tea Leaf Rewards can be earned on all purchases made on or after March 29, 2017.

 

2) How do I earn Tea Leaf Rewards?

It's easy to earn Tea Leaf Rewards! Rewards are automatically added to your account when you are logged in. You can earn rewards the following ways:

  • Making a purchase: Earn 10 Tea Leaf Rewards for every $1 spent at www.republicoftea.com*
  • Create an account: Earn 200 Tea Leaf Rewards when you create an account at www.republicoftea.com
  • Refer a Citizen: Earn 300 Tea Leaf Rewards when a new Citizen you refer creates an account and makes a purchase.**

*Tea Leaf Rewards earned by making a purchase remain in 'pending' status for 30 days after the purchase to allow for returns and/or exchanges.

**Tea Leaf Rewards earned by referring a new Citizen may take up to 10 days to process and update in your account.

 

3) What can I redeem with Tea Leaf Rewards?

Once you have earned 400 Tea Leaf Rewards, you can redeem one of the following tins of tea without charge:

4) How do I access the Loyal Citizen Program and review my Tea Leaf Rewards?

To access to the Loyal Citizen Program, sign in or create an account. From the 'My Account' section, navigate to 'Loyal Citizen Program' using the tabs on the left. In this section, you can select tabs to review your activity, learn how to earn Tea Leaf Rewards, and redeem Tea Leaf Rewards.

 

5) How do I redeem my Tea Leaf Rewards?

To redeem your Tea Leaf Rewards, sign in to your account. From the 'My Account' section, navigate to 'Loyal Citizen Program' using the tabs on the left. In this section, select the 'Redeem Tea Leaf Rewards' tab to browse available products for redemption. Click 'Add to Cart' to redeem your reward.

 

6) How do I refer a new Citizen?

To refer a new Citizen, sign in or create an account. From the 'My Account' section, navigate to 'Refer a Citizen' using the tabs on the left. In this section, you can refer a friend by sending an email, sharing on Facebook and Twitter, or finding your own unique link to share. To earn 300 Tea Leaf Rewards, the new Citizen must click through the link you shared, create an account, and make a purchase. It may take up to 10 days for Tea Leaf Rewards earned by referring a new Citizen to process and update in your account.

 

7) Why are my Tea Leaf Rewards in 'pending' status?

Tea Leaf Rewards earned by making a purchase remain in 'pending' status for 30 days after the purchase to allow for returns and/or exchanges. The Tea Leaf Rewards can be redeemed after 30 days.

 

8) Will I earn Tea Leaf Rewards for my Sip by Sip Auto Ship deliveries?

Yes, you will earn 10 Tea Leaf Rewards for every $1 spent on Sip by Sip Auto Ship deliveries. Points earned through Sip by Sip Auto Ship may take up to 5 business days to update in your account. Points will remain in 'pending' status for 30 days after the purchase to allow for returns and/or exchanges.

 

9) Will my Tea Leaf Rewards expire?

Tea Leaf Rewards will expire after 12 months of inactivity. You must make a purchase or successfully refer a new Citizen every 12 months to keep your Loyal Citizen account active. To successfully refer a new Citizen, he or she must click through the link you shared, create an account and make a purchase.

 

10) Can I earn Tea Leaf Rewards for my past purchases?

Tea Leaf Rewards can be earned on all purchases made on or after March 29, 2017.

 

11) Can I redeem rewards if I checked out as a guest (without signing into my account)?

Yes. If you checked out as a guest, and do not have an existing account at www.republicoftea.com, please create an account using the same email you used when making your purchase. Tea Leaf Rewards earned from your purchase will automatically be added to your account.

 

If you checked out as a guest and have an existing account at www.republicoftea.com, your Tea Leaf Rewards will automatically be added if you completed your purchase using the same email address as the one listed on your account.

 

If you made a purchase using a different email, please note Tea Leaf Rewards are tied to your email address and cannot be transferred.

12) Why were my Tea Leaf Rewards rejected?

Your Tea Leaf Rewards may be rejected for the following reasons:

  • Your Tea Leaf Rewards may be rejected if the person you referred is an existing customer.
  • Your Tea Leaf Rewards may be rejected if you have exceeded the allowable frequency. To see frequency caps on purchases, sign in to your account. From the 'My Account' section, navigate to 'Loyal Citizen Program' using the tabs on the left. In this section, select the 'Earn Tea Leaf Rewards' tab to see how often Tea Leaf Rewards can be earned.

13) Why can't I see my Tea Leaf Rewards?

You will not see Tea Leaf Rewards if you checked out as a guest and did not create an account. Please create an account using the same email you used when making your purchase. Tea Leaf Rewards earned from your purchase will automatically be added to your account.
