Baobab SuperHerb® Tea Bags
Choose Your Variety
Tea for Centering - Known locally as kuka, baobab (BAH-oh-bab) is considered the “tree of life” for its massive, drought-resistant trunks that provide shade and shelter in Africa. The earthy, light notes of the baobab leaf are blended with a touch of mint for a grounding, healthy tea experience.
Reminiscent of a breezy walk among the mighty trees on the Avenue of the Baobabs in western Madagascar, baobab is thought to be an antioxidant in Africa. Traditionally used as a versatile medicine, baobab has a reputation for fighting asthma and soothing inflammation and fatigue.
This herbal blend is naturally caffeine-free. More about caffeine.
Steeping herbal tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour water over tea and steep for 5-7 minutes if using a tea bag or full-leaf.

What our Citizens are saying about this great gift of the leaf...
I have absolutely no idea what, if anything, this 'super-herb' does. But gosh darn it if I don't love the dickins out of it! I bought all three super-herb teas a while back (back where there were only three). Not a fan of the other two, but this one is pretty fantastic.
I love this tea so much. The Baobab was touted to help with inflammation and the mint is just lovely so I had to give it a try. I've made it my daily drinker. It's just so smooth and refreshing. I'm hoping it will help me be able to walk with less pain, time will tell.
Nice, minty, tea
I'm guessing the Baobab leaves give an earthy flavor to this tea. It's nice in the evenings after dinner. The tea is more minty than earthy. I would recommend it if you like mint tea and want to try something new.
A great tea, especially for mint tea lovers! The flavors go together nicely for a smooth drink. The taste is not strong, but lingers which is nice. Highly recommended.
Light and refreshing
This tea is great! I wanted to try these exotic super herb teas and the Baobab sounded like a good starting point. The subtle mint flavor makes this tea very palatable. Highly recommended for someone who wants to try something other than the usual black or green tea.
