Black Raspberry Green Tea Full-Leaf
The black raspberry is neither a blackberry nor a raspberry but has similar sweet, earthy flavors. Sip your way to good health with this green tea blend.
Green tea contains less than a quarter the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee. More about caffeine.
Steeping green tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water just short of boiling. Then pour water over tea and steep for 1-3 minutes (if using a tea bag) or 2-4 minutes (if using full-leaf tea.)

What our Citizens are saying about this great gift of the leaf...
This is my favorite. Mild, sweet flavor. With a teaspoon of honey.....Over the Top! I've shared with family members and it has become a evening ritual. I am running through my orders so quickly, may have to buy it by the pound.
My favorite tea!
I first tried this tea in tea bag form, purchased from Amazon. I thought it couldn't be as good as the blueberry green tea, but once I tried it, I was hooked! As soon as I was down to one tea bag left, I came over to The Republic of Tea to see if this same tea was available in loose leaf form, as I find the taste is usually a bit more defined with a loose leaf tea. And I was so right. I ordered a full pound of loose leaf Black Raspberry Green Supertea, and I arrived yesterday. I am now enjoying my 8th cup of black raspberry heaven! While I actually prefer black teas over green, I also have kidney stones, so have to limit my intake of black tea. But green tea doesn't cause stones, and actually helps to prevent them, so I can drink unlimited amounts. With this berry flavored tea, I find myself drinking more tea, which puts me into a wonderful mood, so even my husband, who is a coffee guy, loves this tea! To the Minister of Good Taste, I'd like to say that you've done your job well! To the Minister of Green Teas, I'd like to say you picked a winner with this one! I am one very happy Citizen of The Republic of Tea!
Not Fruity Enough
When I open the tin, I can smell the fruit but the taste is not what I expected. Tastes too perfumey (floral?) and neither sweet nor fruity enough. I tried different brewing times with the same results and reinfusions are a waste of time. I'm trying to consume more green tea for the health benefits but I still prefer white or black. I LOVE fruit teas but not this one.
I ordered both the Raspberry Acai floavr and the Peach Mango and the Raspberry Acai is definitely the winner of the two. I thought the Peach Mango was awful with an especially bad aftertaste. The Raspberry Acai is a bit too sweet for my taste but it is far more acceptable, even pleasant if very cold and I'm not getting the harsh aftertaste I got from the Peach Mango not at all actually. I am quite surprised that there is so much contrast between the two. So if you're going to try this, definitely go for the Raspberry Acai and forget about the Peach Mango. I have no idea if this stuff will do what it claims, but it does contain a lot of caffine, so be careful. I can say that it woke me up pretty well when I used it and I did feel a bit warmer than normal for awhile, which was strange. I'm not too happy that its sweetened with the artificial sweetener sucralose which is the same as Splenda. Because of that and the fact that I'm not one for consuming caffeine, I won't be drinking this very ofte
True Green Tea
It is an excellent, delicate green tea w/ a light scent/flavor of raspberry. If you are looking for something more hardy, this is NOT the tea for you....but if you are looking for a subtle & brilliant green tea, grab a cuppa & enjoy!!!
