Blackberry sage black tea
My introduction to Republic of Tea was a gift of a traveler's tin of blackberry sage, about 18 years ago. Wow! Fantastic! It remains my very favorite tea of all time. Just enough subtle flavor to distinguish it from plain black teas, although I enjoy them too.
Bright fruit flavor
Love this tea! The berry flavor is wonderful with sage adding a complementary finish note. The black tea has good flavor without bitterness.
I first had this tea on a trip to Washington State. So glad it is sold on the web. It is so yummy with a little bit of agave nectar to sweeten. I love it!
There's a reason why it's a best seller!
I first started drinking Republic of Tea at my local coffee shop. I usually stuck to my three favorites until one day the barista suggested that I try this one because it was super popular and was always selling out. When they placed their order they had to order double of the blackberry sage because it was their #1 tea. I was skeptical because of the mixture of sage with fruit notes but tried it anyways. It's one of my absolute favorites now and I have to keep it stocked in my cabinet at all times. It's mild and fruity and has a mic hint of sweetness. It's even better iced.
Soothing aromatic journey
My tea was delivered amidst a deluge in California. Practically unheard of... I rescued it promptly and the container was damp outside, but, otherwise unharmed. I promptly made a pot of tea and it was glorious. This is my favorite blend. It is always soothing and aromatic, and it is like a warm hug. it has inspired me to make Blackberry Sage scones to go with it. Blackberry Thyme scones are great with it too.
