Black Tea has less than half the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee. More about caffeine.
Steeping black tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour water over tea and steep for 3-5 minutes if using a tea bag or full-leaf.

This tea is so delicious!
It has a lovely balanced black tea with delicious vanilla and caramel flavors that comes through nicely without being over powering or too sweet. It smells like a dream and doesn't have that chemical flavor that comes with some caramels and vanillas. I drink mine with milk and sugar and It's heaven. I really hope they just rename this tea and keep it in the permanent line up!!
a bit bland like shortbread

This tea is not a standout-just a simple vanilla taste when you don't want anything overpowering. Reminds me of eating a shortbread cookie. Comforting, but not too much flavor. Haven't tried with milk yet, maybe would help.

I am a Downton fan, so bought the entire collection. This tea, with a splash of Almond Milk, is a wonderful way to end the day. Rich, caramel flavor is fabulous. A great addition to the Republic of Teas collection.
I don't even know who Mrs. Patmore is but I love this tea!

I’ve never watched Downton Abbey but the description of this tea just called to me. When I read the ingredients I realized it’s very similar to Republic of Tea’s Caramel Vanilla Cuppa Cake tea. To compare the two I actually drank a cup of each within a short period of time.
I used two tea bags in a large (14oz) mug, added boiling water, a touch of sweetener and splash of half & half. It was scrumptious The tea tastes like a rich, decadent vanilla cake. The caramel flavoring is a sweet drizzle that works its way through my tastebuds. It’s scrumdiliumptious.
It is very similar to the Caramel Vanilla Cuppa Cake tea but there are subtle differences. This cake is a bit less sweet and slightly richer in flavor. If you’re a fan of vanilla caramel flavored teas, this would be an excellent addition to your cupboard.
What a Treat!

What a delicious tea, almost tastes like dessert. I received mine from my daughter as a gift. Anyone who is a fan of vanilla and caramel will certainly enjoy this delightful tea.

This and the Downton Estate blend are definitely my favorite out of the selections they've released. I thought this one might be too sweet, but it's just right. A hint of caramel, and a wonderful vanilla aroma--the name "pudding" makes you think it's going to be heavy, but it's wonderfully light. It's my go-to as soon as I get into work. I gave a sample to my boss who is also a Downton fan, and she enjoyed it as well!

LOVE this tea! The marriage of vanilla sponge cake and rich caramel blend perfectly, and is my new fave dessert tea, taking the place of Good Hope Vanilla.

This tea smells delicious and tastes even better. A sweet vanilla/caramel treat in liquid form! I am a big fan of Downton Abbey, and I love the cute tin as well. I will definitely be ordering this tea again!
