Caffeine:

Green tea contains very low levels of caffeine, less than a quarter the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee. More about caffeine.

Steeping Instructions

Steeping green tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water just short of boiling. Then pour water over tea and steep for 1-3 minutes (if using a tea bag) or 2-4 miuntes (if using full-leaf tea.)

A nice gift but terrible packaging December 10, 2011

 		I bought this as a gift and I'm sure the recipient will love it...however...when it arrived it was a HUGE mess. Everything comes separate, the tea, the teapot and the tea cups. They send this very nice wood box to display everything in but it doesn't all fit. And it's full of really messy packing material. I finally just threw the box away and will send the first month's components in a new gift box. They also accidentally sent 12 extra tea cups which I have the hassle of getting picked up and shipped back to them. Overall, I think this is a great gift but beware the hassle of sending it as a gift. It would be much nicer if there was an option on the website to have this gift shipped separately to the recipient.
