Liquid Product Development Specialist

The Republic of Tea, the category leader in specialty teas, is seeking a Liquid Product Development Specialist to handle the product development and process development in the liquid brewing, blending, and packaging department.

Requirements for this exciting opportunity:

• Minimum of 3 years of product/process and research development

• Experience analyzing products to ensure standards and specifications are met

• Experience with processes and products on a varying scale from lab testing to plant size batching

• Experience designing formulas for liquid products, meeting cost parameters and government requirements

• Ability to support program development with label and nutritional information

• Knowledge of beverage process software

• Ability to work with manufacturing partnership liaison to achieve successful new product launches

• Experience with test runs for new or improved liquid products

• Familiar with the formulation of trial and scale-up batches and specification development

• Experience in a lab setting

• Math and analytical skills

• Detail oriented with highly developed organizational skills

• Must be able to perform effectively in a fast paced environment

• Ability to follow precise instructions and measurements for blending and mixing

• Research and Development or Beverage production experience preferred

• Associates degree in related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
