Steeping Instructions

Heat fresh, filtered water to boiling. Place one tea bag in your cup and pour in 6 oz of the heated water. Steep for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea bag and enjoy. For iced tea, double the amount of tea bags used, steep as above and pour over a generous amount of ice.

 		This was earthy and flavorful. The coconut wasn't too strong or fake-tasting, which can be a problem with coconut flavored teas. I wanted more plantain though. Or maybe I just really wanted the plantain to taste like banana. Overall quite good.

 		I really wasn't sure I was going to like this tea, since I don't usually like red rooibos. I was very pleasantly surprised. I love the smooth, mild flavor of the green rooibos and the coconut and sweet plantain. Don't let the big hit of coconut fool you when you open the canister, it's just right, not cloying or fake tasting. I added a bit of wildflower honey and it was divine. I can't wait to try it over ice. Even if you're on the fence, give it a try, I'm very glad I did.

 		This is my favorite even though all of the Republic of Tea teas are wonderful! It is sweet without needing sugar and has hints of coconut and banana that make it very refreshing. I make pitchers of cold tea every week!
