I thought all Earl Grey teas were alike but that's not so!! I think I prefer my Earl Grey in a rooibos base from now on! Fantastic! I love it!

I quit caffeine a few years ago but still love the flavor of earl grey. Luckily, this tea does the trick, it is just like the original earl grey I used to drink, with that delicious bergamont orange flavor. Try it with a splash of milk, you will be very happy.

My husband and I are addicted to this! It's really quite delicious. We like to drink it with cream and raw sugar, wonderful. My favorite tea in previous years had been Lady Grey by Twinings, however due to health problems I can no longer have caffeine, and even decaf has enough to give me problems. I was so happy to find this Earl Grey flavor in a Rooibos. In fact nowadays I prefer Rooibos (this flavor in particular) to black teas. I find the flavor is better, and in addition the brewing is so hassle-free -- no more ruined cups of tea due to leaving the bag in too long. Rooibos never develops a bad flavor as a result of sitting too long.

| The Earl & the Rooibos | March 20, 2012 | |
I have tried other rooibos versions of Earl Grey and all lack the earthy balance that black and green teas can give to the tart and tang of the bergamot orange. It is unfortunate, considering "Tea. Earl Grey. Hot." is a personal favourite, especially RoT's loose leaf green Earl Grey. Still, as a rooibos, it'll do.
