Mindfulness Tea Pot December 07, 2012

Diana Starr Daniels

Fairhaven, MA

I call this the Mindfulness Tea Pot because I am just about to order a third one after breaking the first two. The pot is lovely, allows me to see the tea which I love, but delicate. It holds up well to hot water. Doesn't hold up well to someone who doesn't pay attention. My first one was short-lived. The second one lasted longer until I banged it on the sink this morning. Not much of a bump either. Wish the glass was sturdier, but I like it enough to buy a replacement. BE HERE NOW!!

Great Tea Pot Style April 30, 2012

Very cute tea pot, great for the rare flowering teas. The glass is very thin and fragile, kind-of afraid to wash it. Other than that, it works great, especially with the matching tea light warmer.

This pot is much lighter than I thought it would be, but just right for displaying a blooming tea or steeping my favorite loose tea. Being the only tea enthusiast in my family, it's just the right size! (It's tougher than it looks!)

I love this Tea Pot & I would have given it five stars..but the handle is VERY flimsy! If you are creative & are willing to put a little time & love into fixing it like I did..then it can earn it's "Perfect" title! The pot itself is adorable & can hold four cups if you use the Glass Tea Cup that is sold here at The Republic. Honestly, I would NOT recommend using this product AT ALL with this handle unless you simply do what I did to make it work. Trust me, this Teapot will be worth your time after you're done! The Teapot's handle has silvertoned coiled wire, and is almost the exact same to the 22Gauge wire you will be using to fix it. All you need to do is purchase 22Gauge Silvertone Brite Wire ($2 at the craft store) to build the handles up causing it to tighten & secure itself to the Teapot. You can use your fingers OR small rubber tipped pliers to create a continuous figure 8 around the ends. Continue going around until you build up enough tightness. Use neat & uniform twists so that when you're

I love that I can see the Republic of Tea steeping inside this teapot. It's a great size for my sit-downs with tea. The handle requires great balance to use properly.

I don't about perfect....? January 23, 2012

This little pot is alright, but the borosilicate glass is not as strong as it is led to believe. After brewing three times in this pot, while pouring a cup, this lid cracked apart in my left hand. Scared the bejeezes out of me. Thankfully I did not get cut. The last thing I think when pouring a cup, shouldn't be "is this cover going to break while holding the top in mid pour?"

Luve the design, Makes a great cup of tea! October 30, 2011

Have used the pot on a continuing basis since it arrived. Love the tea it brews and with the warmer, I can enjoy a refill that's as hot and wonderful as that first soothing cup I pour.
