What is a "sea buckthorn"? Well, I didi not know, so I bought the tea to find out. I am certainly glad that I did. The tea is wonderful. It has an underlying creamy vanilla and fruit flavor. Somewhat like a fruity ice cream that is not berry or citrus. I returned to the Rep of Tea site today to order another tin of this tea, only to find that the tea bags are discontinued. I am certainly going to get the loose tea instead, but I sincerely hope that this is not an indication of a discontinuation of the Sea Buckthorn tea! I love many of their teas, but this one is in my top 10.

Who knew that this was just what I was looking for. I've seen this tea online and in the catalog, but seen in this store in Chicago. So I took a leap of faith and just bought it. It's sweet also has pleasant taste. I've tried using a honey spoon and the taste is the same. I love it.

I don't love the taste of green tea "straight," but I drink it for health reasons. This tea has a mild fruity flavor that does a great job of masking the "grassy" taste of the green tea. Very pleasant if you're looking for a way to drink more green tea.

The tea smelled very sweet, fruity when I opened the container but once it was brewed it had very little flavor, unlike all of the other superfruit green teas. I never knew what a sea buckthorn was before, so I definitely couldn't have assumed a flavor at all if I didn't know what I purchased. Just tasted like green tea.
