Black Tea has less than half the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee. More about caffeine.
Steeping black tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour water over tea and steep for 3-5 minutes if using a tea bag or full-leaf.

Every year, I start my Holiday Season with this chai. The variety of "Christmas" spices brings back cherished memories while sipping on this wonderfully balanced tea.

Not enough black tea
October 17, 2013
This Chai is more like an herb tea. The anise is too strong and the black tea is too weak. The color is not the rich color one would expect from a nice spicy tea. It reminds me of a weak herb tea. The only spice I could identify in the flavor was the star anise. Disappointing.
A nice tea

This is a nice cup of tea; however, the aroma and flavor was not as intense as I like in a chai. Perhaps I need to use 2 bags next time. Not sure if I will buy this one again.
I love CHAI
October 14, 2012
This is my favorite Chai on the market. Steep it for a while, then add a splash of milk and some honey (preferably Repulic's Chai honey for extra flavor) and you have the perfect start to a cold morning. I always keep it on hand because I HAVE to have it when I have a cold or sore throat. It really helps with congestion.
