Explorer's Rooibos Herb Tea - Explorers trekking to the remote mountains of South Africa were introduced to Rooibos, an herb the locals had been enjoying as red tea . The herb rooibos has been blended with a delicious mélange of other herbs and spices: orange, cinnamon, ginger, coriander, cardamom, star anise, fennel, black pepper, pimento and cloves.
Steeping red tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour water over tea and steep for 5-7 minutes if using a tea bag or full-leaf.

Will clear your sinuses
December 05, 2012
I buy this tea regularly for cold season. Everytime I get congested or start having the sniffles, I drink a couple glasses of Red Chai. It good for you because it's red tea and the chai spices will really clear out your sinuses. I swear it's also spicy enough to sweat out fevers. This tea always makes my colds more bearable and I look forward to adding maple syrup to it as I saw mentioned in a recipe on this site.
One Terrific Chai

The Republic of Tea has made a caffeine-free and Oxalate-free (Kidney stone sufferers know what this means) chai that is every bit as good as the usual black tea concoctions.

The flavors in this tea seem very exotic to me, like perhaps a cup of tea served on the Orient Express. There is also the added benefit of settling an unsettled tummy. I love this tea just for relaxing or if I'm having tummy issues. Very soothing.
