Explorer's Rooibos Herb Tea - Explorers trekking to the remote mountains of South Africa were introduced to Rooibos, an herb the locals had been enjoying as red tea. The herb rooibos has been blended with a delicious mélange of other herbs and spices: cinnamon, orange peel, ginger, cardamom seeds, Chinese star anise, cloves, and black pepper.
Rooibos (Red Tea) is naturally caffeine-free. More about caffeine.
Steeping red tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour water over tea and steep for 5-7 minutes if using a tea bag or full-leaf.

What our Citizens are saying about this great gift of the leaf...
It has a good mild flavor. Cinnamon just a little to light though. Could be stronger.
I love this. Also I love the fact that these are teas that can't be found in stores, so I get to serve a drink no one has had before. Winning!!! 😃
I ordered this tea with trepidation, because I don't generally like rooibos tea. I do like chai, however, so I thought I'd give it a try. I figured I could give it away if I really didn't like it. Much to my surprise, it's quite yummy! My second favorite right behind your green tea chai. I usually make one cup of each at the same time. Perhaps I like it because the rooibos flavor is very mild. Glad I tried it! :-)
It is so nice to have a chai tea without the caffeine. I like this rooibos chai with soy creamer and a bit of sugar or honey. Wonderful.
Great no-caffeine tea!
Great taste for a no-caffeine tea! For health/medical reasons, I try to eliminate all caffeine I knowingly ingest. This one is tops! P.S. I still miss Botswana Blossom. I REALLY liked that no-caffeine tea. So sad when it was discontinued.
