Sea Buckthorn is native to the shores of the Northern Baltic Sea in Germany where locals consume the berries. Sea Buckthorn berries are mildly tart, like an apricot.
Paired with fresh, green tea and ripe, sweet apples, this blend is filled with healthy intentions. Enjoy Sip by Sip.

Mild fruity flavor | August 05, 2012 |

I don't love the taste of green tea "straight," but I drink it for health reasons. This tea has a mild fruity flavor that does a great job of masking the "grassy" taste of the green tea. Very pleasant if you're looking for a way to drink more green tea. |

The tea smelled very sweet, fruity when I opened the container but once it was brewed it had very little flavor, unlike all of the other superfruit green teas. I never knew what a sea buckthorn was before, so I definitely couldn't have assumed a flavor at all if I didn't know what I purchased. Just tasted like green tea. |
