Sea Buckthorn Green Tea Full-Leaf
Choose Your Variety
Sea Buckthorn is native to the shores of the Northern Baltic Sea in Germany where locals consume the berries. Sea Buckthorn berries are mildly tart, like an apricot.
Paired with fresh, green tea and ripe, sweet apples, this blend is filled with healthy intentions. Enjoy Sip by Sip.
Green tea contains less than a quarter the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee. More about caffeine.
Steeping green tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water just short of boiling. Then pour water over tea and steep for 1-3 minutes (if using a tea bag) or 2-4 minutes (if using full-leaf tea.)

Can't get past the smell
I bought this tea a little bit back and have used it only once. The smell is so odd and unpleasant, it is tough to drink. The taste didn't seem bad but I can't bring my self to drink something that smells this bad. It may be a healthy tea but not for me. If the fragrance of tea is important to you, I don't recommend.
My Favorite Green
Love this tea. I was distraught to see the bags are no longer available. I can deal so long as you promise not to discontinue it all together!
No More Sea Buckthorn Teabags?!
What is a "sea buckthorn"? Well, I didi not know, so I bought the tea to find out. I am certainly glad that I did. The tea is wonderful. It has an underlying creamy vanilla and fruit flavor. Somewhat like a fruity ice cream that is not berry or citrus. I returned to the Rep of Tea site today to order another tin of this tea, only to find that the tea bags are discontinued. I am certainly going to get the loose tea instead, but I sincerely hope that this is not an indication of a discontinuation of the Sea Buckthorn tea! I love many of their teas, but this one is in my top 10.
WOW ! This is my kind of tea
Who knew that this was just what I was looking for. I've seen this tea online and in the catalog, but seen in this store in Chicago. So I took a leap of faith and just bought it. It's sweet also has pleasant taste. I've tried using a honey spoon and the taste is the same. I love it.
Only surpassed by Milk Oolong
Sea Buckthorn and Acerola Cherry are tied for second. Smooth, mellow, delicious.
