What our Citizens are saying about this great gift of the leaf...
I really like this iced tea. The flavours are very subtle so it doesn't taste artificial. I haven't tried this yet but I was considering putting some fresh basil in the glass of tea, I am pretty sure it will be delicious!
More savory than I like
If you like a more savory and less sweet taste this tea is for you - the Basil overtone is very strong for my taste, I am more of a fruit flavored tea drinker. My friends that like savory flavors and unsweetened tea love this. Just not "my cup of tea".
Good Iced Green Tea
I much preferred this tea brewed at 1.5 strength (3 pouches for 2 quarts) as I found the flavor too mellow when brewed as instructed. I didn't find the basil to be overpowering. The strawberry came through the most and then a hint of basil.
This tea is a delicate flavor of strawberry which you can taste. The tea is not overly sweet or strong. It taste great with a spoonful of honey as a sweetener I also use raw sugar.
This has just way too much basil flavor for me and not nearly enough strawberry to balance it out. (And this from someone who loves pesto.) As an iced tea product I was expecting something much more "fruity".
