I bought 16 of these ice tea spoons because my new, 16 place settings of JA Henckels stainless flatware did not come with ice tea spoons, and nothing matching is available. However, here in Florida we drink lots of iced sweet tea, so I searched the web looking for something that would at least look good with--and not detract from--my new flatware.
These spoons are a nice weight--nothing flimsy at all about them--although admittedly they not as heavy as my Henckels flatware--I'm not implying that. But then again they don't compare in cost either. And their very plain design with a shiny surface does go very well with my new flatware's design, which is also very plain but shiny.
And I really like that these spoons are extra long, compared to others that I found to buy, as we do use large and tall, 32 oz glasses full of ice for serving iced tea--always with sugar and lemon to be stirred in by the drinker.
