1) What is Sip by Sip Auto Ship?
Sip by Sip Auto Ship is the most convenient way to get your favorite
teas from The Republic of Tea. We automatically send you your tea based on the
frequency you choose using your stored method of payment. The program is easy to use and customizable, so you can
make changes online whenever you need. Just tell us how often you want your
favorite tea and we will take it from there.
We designed this hassle-free program for our citizens so that you can truly
enjoy the Sip by Sip rather than Gulp by Gulp Lifestyle. We send an email
reminder ten days before each order ships. You can change your delivery
frequency, next order date or quantity anytime by visiting the My
Account section of www.republicoftea.com. Changes to orders can be made
anytime within 48 hours of the next scheduled shipment date, and you can cancel
at any time. Prices subject to change.
2) What are the benefits of Sip by Sip Auto Ship?
Signing up for Sip by Sip Auto Ship is the easiest and most convenient way to purchase and enjoy our premium teas and herbs. When you sign up, you can choose exactly what teas you want shipped to your home or office, and how frequently you want them delivered. You'll also only be charged once we ship them to you. Sip by Sip Auto Ship allows you to enjoy an array of benefits:
- You can add eligible teas or items to your regularly scheduled Sip by Sip Auto Ship orders
- You don't have to worry about re-ordering - we do the work for you at your desired frequency
- Your favorite teas and herbs will be delivered right to your doorstep
3) How much will I pay for each shipment?
For each Sip by Sip shipment, you’ll only pay the current listed price of the items in your subscription—there are no additional membership fees, etc. And, as a Sip by Sip member, you’ll receive free shipping on every Sip by Sip order! Note that if the regular price for an item changes, the cost of each Sip by Sip shipment will be adjusted accordingly.
4) Can I take advantage of other offers and/or promotions with my Sip by Sip Auto Ship orders?
No, other offers and/or promotions are not valid in combination with your Sip by Sip Auto Ship orders.
5) How do I create a Sip by Sip Auto Ship account?
Making a Sip by Sip Auto Ship account is easy; it can be done while browsing on the product page, on the Wish List page, or on the shopping cart page when you are stopping on our website. To join, simply select the Sip by Sip Auto Ship option for your desired tea, select your preferred shipment frequency, then check out as normal.
6) What will happen after I create a Sip by Sip Auto Ship Account?
After you create a Sip by Sip Auto Ship account, you will receive an
email confirmation. This email will include a link to your account where you
can manage your future orders and Auto Ship information.
We will place your orders automatically according to your selected frequency,
and you will only be billed on the day the order is shipped. Prior to each Auto
Ship order, we will send you an email reminder. You will also receive email
notifications regarding other important information related to your Sip by Sip
Auto Ship account, such as if your tea is discontinued or out of stock, if you
cancel your Auto Ship, or confirmation when an order places successfully.
7) What is the difference between the 'My Next Order' and 'My Subscriptions' tabs?
The 'My Next Order' tab shows the details for your next
scheduled order. An order may contain more than one individual tea scheduled
for Auto Ship if the teas have the same order date, shipping address, billing
address, and payment information.
The 'My Subscriptions' tab displays individual Auto Ship teas and all
associated details for that individual Auto Ship including next order date,
delivery frequency, quantity, shipping address, billing address, and payment
information. Individual Sip by Sip Auto Ship teas can all have different
account information or you can make the account information the same for all
Sip by Sip Auto Ship teas you receive.
8) What is the difference between an Order and a Subscription?
An Order is a scheduled shipment of tea or teas. If the shipment date, shipping address, payment info, and billing address are all the same, multiple subscriptions are sent in the same order.
A Subscription contains only one flavor of tea in one size. There could be multiple quantities of the same product in one subscription. Each flavor and each size will have different Subscriptions associated with each.
9) Can my Sip by Sip Auto Shipments be delivered to an APO or FPO address?
No, APO and FPO addresses are not eligible for Sip by Sip Auto Shipments.
10) Can my Sip by Sip Auto shipments be delivered to an international address?
No, international addresses are not eligible for Sip by Sip Auto Shipments.
11) How do I make changes to my Sip by Sip Auto Ship deliveries?
Once you have joined, Sip by Sip Auto Ship, it is easy to manage. You
can change your next order date, skip an order, change your selected frequency
or cancel an Auto Ship by visiting ‘Manage Auto Ship’ located in 'My
Account' section of www.republicoftea.com. Please allow up to 48 hours for
modifications or cancellations to be processed.
Change a ship date
- To change your next ship date, please visit the 'My Next Order' tab of the Manage Auto Ship page and click the "Change Date " button near the next order date and select the new date for your order. This will change the ship date for the entire order.
- If a Sip by Sip Auto Ship order contains multiple teas and you would only like to change the ship date of a single tea, please visit the 'My Subscriptions' tab of the Manage Auto Ship page and identify the individual tea you would like to modify. Please click on the next order date for the individual tea and select your desired next ship date from the pop-up calendar. Please allow up to 48 hours for modifications to be processed.
Skip a delivery
- To skip an order, please visit the 'My Next Order' tab of the Manage Auto Ship page, and click the "Skip Delivery" link near the next ship date to skip the entire order. Please allow up to 48 hours for modifications to be processed.
Change Shipment Frequency
- To modify the delivery frequency, please visit the 'My Subscriptions' tab of the Manage Auto Ship page. On this tab, the current delivery frequency is displayed next to each tea in a drop-down menu. To change the delivery frequency for an individual Auto Ship tea, simply click the arrow of the frequency drop-down next to the tea you would like to modify, and select your next desired frequency from the pull-down menu. Please allow up to 48 hours for modifications to be processed.
Cancel Auto Ship
- To cancel an Auto Ship tea, please visit the 'My Subscriptions' tab of the Manage Auto Ship page and simply click the “Edit” button to the right of the subscription. Then click on “Cancel Subscription.” Once you've chosen 'No thanks, pause my subscription', you will be prompted to confirm this and indicate your reason for cancelling. Once you've chosen 'Cancel Auto Ship', your Auto Ship will be cancelled and no future orders will be placed. You will also receive an email notification confirming this. Please allow up to 48 hours for cancellations to be processed.
12) How do I make changes to My Sip by Sip Auto Ship account information?
To review or modify your Sip by Sip Auto Ship account information, please visit 'Manage Auto Ship' located in the 'My Account' section of www.republicoftea.com. You can change your shipping address, billing address, or payment information for an individual order or at the subscription level, which will affect all future orders.
SHIPPING ADDRESS
There are two places that you can change the shipping address for an order or subscription.
o For your next order only or for all future orders
§ To be able to change the payment information or billing address for your next order only or for all future orders, click on the 'My Next Order' tab.
§ Then click the "Change" link next to the current shipping address. This will prompt a pop-up window where you will be able to enter your new shipping address.
§ When the pop-up appears, click the “+” sign in the green box next to the address if you would like to enter a new shipping address and then enter the new address OR select from a previous shipping address from the drop down menu.
§ If you would like the new shipping address for that order only, be sure to check the box next to “Check here if you would like this change to apply to only this order.” If you do not check that box, the current order and any subsequent orders will have the new shipping address.
§ Click “OK”.
Please allow up to 48 hours for modifications or cancellations to be processed.
o For one particular subscription only or for all your subscriptions
§ To be able to change the address for one particular subscription only or for all your subscriptions, click on the ‘My Subscriptions’ tab.
§ Click on “More Changes”.
§ Then click the "Change" link next to the current shipping address. This will prompt a pop-up window where you will be able to enter your new shipping address.
§ When the pop-up appears, click the “+” sign in the green box next to the address if you would like to enter a new shipping address and then enter the new address OR select from a previous shipping address from the drop down menu.
§ If you would like the new shipping address for that subscription only, be sure to check the box next to “Check here if you would like this change to apply to only this subscription item and its future orders. “ If you do not check that box, all subscriptions in your account will have the new payment information and billing address.
§ Click “OK”.

PAYMENT DETAILS and BILLING ADDRESS
There are two places that you can change the payment information and billing address for an order or subscription.
o For your next order only or for all future orders
§ To be able to change the payment information or billing address for your next order only or for all future orders, click on the 'My Next Order' tab.
§ Click the "Change" link next to the current billing address. This will prompt a pop-up window.
§ If you would like to use a previous payment method and billing address combination, select it from the dropdown.
§ If you would like to use a new payment method and/or billing address, click on “+” sign in the green box next to the address.
§ You can then add a new billing address and/or payment information by clicking on the “+” sign next to your desired change.
§ If you would like the new payment information/billing address for that order only, be sure to check the box next to “Check here if you would like this change to apply to only this subscription item and its future orders.” If you do not check that box, all subscriptions in your account will have the new payment information and billing address.
§ After entering the new information, click “OK”.
