This mug is a wonderful tea mug/coffee mug with the change of the sakura (cherry ) flowers being a delight to see. But, you must be careful about cleaning it. Wash the mug by hand, use a Chlorox wipe to clean the stains, because if you put it in the dishwasher, the applied decal will not withstand the heat and harsh detergent. I don't remember if the mug came with this warning but I learned the lesson the hard way so be cautious. I delight in putting a fresh pot of tea in every morning and seeing the blooms. Have fun.

The Cherry Mug was exactly what I had wanted. being a Nihonophile and owning a cherry tree of my own, this was perfect. To watch the pink sakura blossoms appear as the hot tea is poured in is a bit mesmerizing. I now use the mug basically every day. Thanks for getting it to me!
