    Caffeine Content

Our bulk full-leaf teas have a wide range of caffeine levels, from decaf to high caffeine teas. Black teas, such as our Earl Grey Black Tea, tend to have the highest caffeine content, but still less than half the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee. Yerba maté is also considered a high caffeine tea, with roughly the same amount of caffeine as a cup of black tea. Oolong and green tea have less caffeine than black tea, and white tea is considered low in caffeine. Rooibos and herbal teas are naturally caffeine-free, and we also have a selection of decaffeinated teas.

    Health Benefits

All teas that are derived from the Camellia sinensis bush - including black, oolong, green, and white teas - are rich in antioxidants that contain powerful anti-inflammatory properties. The caffeine content in these teas can also provide an energy boost and promote mental clarity. Herbal teas have their own set of healing benefits depending on the herbs, fruits, flowers, spices, and other ingredients used.
