I compost my tea bags and these bags compost perfectly. We make kombucha so we can go through a lot of tea bags and I certainly don't want the kind with tabs and strings and staples. I also like the fact that the package containing the tea is packed with the scraps of the tea bags, also compostable!

I am mostly a herbal tea and coffee drinker, but once I tried this black tea, I found it wonderfully delicious as my morning drink too. So I rotate my coffee mornings now, with my British Breakfast Black tea every other day. I do feel it is a nice way to keep my body in balance also, as this tea is lighter in a way than coffee.

This black tea is a nice, not too overpowering. While the tea is not overpowering, I do think the taste is a bit on the mild side, which is why I took of a star.

Recently I've been fasting in the mornings so no sugar, no milk, nothing but tea. This tea is one of the few that I really enjoy drinking unsweetened. Follow the directions - fresh water to 212 degrees, poured over tea bag and brewed 3-5 minutes. I use honey to sweeten a bit - no milk, though, but you might like millk...it is a great basic tea.
