My firefighter husband practices Fika and most days he wants Earl Grey decaf. We appreciate this decaf tea is a bit stronger flavor than other brands, and it's a healthier product because of the process of decaffeination. Some processes are decidedly unhealthy due to chemicals being used. Thank you for an above average decaf earl grey, and for caring enough to not use chemicals in your processes.

As many other reviewers said, the very small tea bags make extremely weak tea. Also like others, I added extra bags and tried brewing longer, but still nothing. The tea smells great in the can, but it seriously tastes like nothing. Too bad! I'll keep looking but will probably go back to the foil wraps for my lovely cuppa.

The London fog that I learned to make uses lavender in it. The trouble is that unless it's decaf, I won't be sleeping at night because I drink so many cups of that tea. Thankfully, this particular earl, grayer solves that problem. It is delicious, and tastes just like the caffeinated counterpart.

I usually prefer an earl greyer or british breakfast for Breakfast time; however sometimes I want it for my afternoon tea or late evenings. This gives the same delicious aromatic tea without the caffeine to keep me up. Its floral and delicious. It is a must have with cream.

I was never happy throwing strings and tags into the compost bin, not to mention teas that use non-compostable mesh for the teabag. My eco-warrior daughter found this brand several years ago. It has a wonderful taste and I now buy it in bulk. While I am a mostly decaf Earl Grey drinker, I have enjoyed the free samples that come with my purchases and found some new favorites.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars Republic of Tea makes a really delicious Earl Grey. That's why it's Grey-er! Ha! I love this tea hot but it's also really delicious iced. If you make it with extra intensity, so a couple more bags and less water, then when you have it over ice it holds its flavor while the ice melts. It doesn't ever develop a strange aftertaste like many teas. Recommend for summer and winter yumminess.

But some improvements are needed: 1) The can and round tea bags are great, but there must be a way to seal the can without the plastic ring. 2) Even if it means giving up profit, Republic of Tea should drop the capsules and sips - these are for ecocriminals only! 3) All that "wellness" and "beauty" and "metabolism" stuff is nonsense. Just stick to tasty tea.

I take this tea everywhere and I just cannot live without. However, this time, tea does not taste the same and very weak. I cannot get enough color and aroma like I remember anymore. The caffeinated version of this has been one of my favorites, but this stuff is barely flavored water. Even with two bags in a med-large cup, it was not worth drinking. Too bad. Same goes for the ginger peach decaf, which is normally one of my all time fave teas.

Just like all the republic of tea choices this is a great one, and I love having this in the evening instead of a caffeinated tea. Another great decaf tea is the Ginger Peach black tea. I alternate between these two as they are both lovely teas. Also make great iced teas.

I allowed the tea to steep for 7 minutes and it was still a bit weak and watery. I will try 2 bags the next time I have some.

I do have a problem with Republic of Tea's bags in general, because they sometimes "leak" into the tea water, leaving an unpleasant residue at the bottom of the cup.
