One of my favorite teas. I have this daily and love it!
I always have Moroccan Mint Green tea in my tea stash. I've tried other brands of mint tea over the years, but this one wins, hands down, for flavor. If you like mint tea there's none better!
This is the best mint tea that I have ever tasted! Can’t seem to get enough. At night my throat feels dry and scratchy and this tea makes me feel better again, so soothing.
Moroccan Mint really relieves a stuffy nose and headache.
I generally avoid green teas but I'll make an exception for this one; it's delicious as-is without being overly grassy.
The perfect alternative to the caffeine fueled bold black teas I also drink throughout the day. Light, sweet and minty.
Rich, full-flavored tea! I love the peppermint in this Moroccan Mint Green tea. So great!
I like to drink a variety of teas at different times, and this is one of my favorites that I always come back to. Soothing and very flavorful :)
I drink Moroccan mint every morning for breakfast and often have it again in the afternoon.
Moroccan mint tea is traditionally made with spearmint, this tea is made with peppermint. I love the mint flavor, which is why I bought it; because I checked the label in the image. If you have had other Moroccan mint teas, you may find the mint flavor in this tea a bit overpowering if you're used to varieties with spearmint. 10/10 Delicious! No notes.
This has become my new favorite tea. I am a new convert to green tea and I love the smooth flavor of this combination.
Definitely happy about my purchase. Bought five varieties a few weeks ago and have enjoyed each one. I wish the chai was less cinnamon-y and more cardamom-y but I’ve yet to find a chai that reminds me of India. Moroccan mint and English breakfast have been my favorites
This is by far the best mint tea I have ever had. It has a nice rich flavor, but isn't overwhelming. I find it very soothing
An excellent blend of mint and tea.
This is the only tea I have tasted called Moroccan Mint that actually tastes like the delicious tea that they serve you everywhere in Morocco. Takes me back to my trip every time I drink it. It's delicioius!
The perfect tea, hot, for an early morning start. Also makes a refreshing iced tea on hot summer days. Can't decide which I like better!
I discovered this loose leaf Moroccan Mint Green Tea many years ago and it has become (and remains) the key element of my morning ritual. I adore this tea and buy it in bulk. Whenever I need a mood-boost, all I have to do is open the bag and take a whiff of the fragrance. Amazing.
Not bad but not mint. It tastes like the peppermint tea but oily. Not a fan especially since I don't even like their peppermint tea but that's a taste preference.
Of all the teas that we have tasted, Moroccan Mint is our favorite! We usually have a cup every night and order it by the pound, not the can. We recommend it to all our tea drinking friends.
I tend to collect mint teas to serve to guests when no other beverage seems to satisfy them. This tea has many fans. I also like this tea for use as a cocktail base. It makes a delicious Mint Julep.
Following a trip to exotic Morocco and after exhausting my stash of dried mint tea brought back, I've been on the hunt to recreate that experience. I've tried several different brands and combinations of mint tea but this is absolutely the closest in flavor. Love it very hot with honey every evening to relax. You will too!
It's a nice, high quality tea, but it's peppermint. I wish they made it with the other mint. Solid tea for those that like peppermint
I ordered this because it sounded similar to the Asoka green-mint tea offered in the Star Wars line of teas and I can't see there's a refill option for that exact flavor of tea in the larger 50 tea bag option. This was nice, but I can't quite get the proportions right for making s single cuppa and so that's why I gave it 4 teapots vs 5. Please make the same formula green-mint tea available in the 50 bag refill packages as that's less packaging and more cost effective and the Asoka green-mint tea is my most favorite flavor to date!
So I read mint tea could help with digestive issues and I bought two variations: Moroccan Mint Green Full-Leaf Tea, and Organic Mint Fields (bagged). I like the flavor of Moroccan Mint better. I haven't tried other Moroccan variations or brands to compare it with, but I have had multiple mint/peppermint blend and this is one of my faves. But more importantly, I noticed consistent positive results on my digestion. It's not going to cure major ailments but if you tend to get upset stomach or bloat after a heavy meal or particular foods, this is a GREAT after-dinner tea. I absolutely love it for that and will continue to buy! For reference the Organic Mint Fields also tasted good, but did nothing to calm my stomach.
This tea is delicious and I'm obsessed with it!
The aroma is captivating
Some prefer to pour this over ice in the summer, however, I prefer it hot. This is a tea perfect for winter. The green tea is smokey, and will remind you of chimneys at Christmas. The mint is a juxtaposition of sensations. Each sip creates a warm, tingling sensation in the chest, like a sip of brandy; which is then followed by the cooling exhale or back notes of the mint. To me, its winter in a glass.
Wow I'm so glad that my husband chose this tea it is so refreshing and delicious, it relaxes the senses with any meal. It goes well with any type of dish or just alone, I've had it with even chocolate so far and it pairs really well.
I have been drinking this kind of tea ever since 2000 and this is my addiction. I love this type of tea just like anyone drinking their coffee.
I'm not an expert on Moroccan mint tea, but from other Moroccan mint teas I've had, this taste was not what I expected. Maybe it's not the right variety of mint, or the mint is too strong. I'm not sure, but we did not enjoy this.
Almost like being in Morroco...their tea as well as the mint tea in Turkey are sooooo favorable. Love it!!!
I bought this because I was looking for something to help with nausea stemming from various health issues. This Tea is comforting and tastes wonderful! Totally eliminates my nausea and actually helps some with Migraine!
First of all, let me say that this tea was so close to what I grew up with I was almost sorry for my mint out back. I have gunpowder loose tea my uncle brought back from Morocco. (we are Moroccan.) we grew up drinking the tea out of short clear glasses with the Moroccan spiced cookies grandma used to make. I think this will be our favorite.
This is such a delightfully refreshing tea. I love it iced or hot.
Have been purchasing this Republic of Tea, Moroccan Mint Tea for many years now, can't remember how how long. It is my tea of choice and addiction first thing in the morning, like others love their coffee, I love my Moroccan Mint with coconut milk and a sprinkle of coco. I buy several pounds at a time and I panic when I run low. I also take it with me when I travel because I know I will not find a suitable substitute. If it is peppermint rather than Spearmint, so be it. It certainly works for me and I do love many different kinds of tea. My only issue is I wish it was offered as organic tea. Other mint teas are such a disappointment. Mid day and evening, I enjoy other varieties of tea, although mornings are not the same without my Moroccan Mint tea.
Love this tea...been searching for a really true Moroccan MJ mint tea,,finally found it!
I received this as a gift recently. I've since "shared" it with another (mainly because the person I gave it to loved it far more than I did). When I first opened the tin, I immediately noticed that the mint was clearly peppermint, not spearmint. When I came to the site to look up this tea, it says in the ingredients tab "Finest Formosan gunpowder green tea leaves and peppermint". Moroccan mint is generally made Mentha spicata Nana, which is a spearmint. To someone who can't taste the difference between the two mints, it probably wouldn't matter. To someone who can taste the difference, it's a huge difference and not the "right" flavor for a proper Moroccan mint tea. Having said that, it was still fairly good tea. If I wanted a peppermint tea, this one would be in my top 3 choices. The smokey flavor of the gunpowder under the peppermint put the flavor in what I call the baby bear range. Not too strong, not too weak, but just right. You know, if I was looking for a peppermint tea... As a peppermint tea, this would easily get 5 stars. As a Moroccan mint tea...? It's lucky to get 2, and that's only because it was good, just not "Moroccan mint tea".
I've come to enjoy Moroccan mint tea ever since I had a pot at a Moroccan restaurant. From all the positive comments I read here I ordered some. You cannot imagine my disappointment when upon opening the tin all I could smell was PEPPERMINT... Any time I've ever had mint tea, the "mint" has always been spearmint!! In fact, "Google-ing" "Moroccan mint tea", it specifically states it is made with spearmint. I DESPISE peppermint and hate that I wasted my money.
Tea is an important part in our Middle Eastern culture. This is the only mint tea I buy!
This tea is mostly delicious, but I will say this: a little goes a long way! The mint is slightly overwhelming for me, so I like to mix a little of this tea with my favorite plain gunpowder green tea, and it is the perfect blend.
I love having mint tea especially when I have a stomach ache or after a heavy meal! No sugar is needed.
I have tried nearly every brand and form of mint tea out there, and have found none to be as delicious as this. I buy this tea in bulk and enjoy a cup several days each week. I love it!
This is by far the best Moroccan mint tea that I've tried. It's incredibly refreshing, especially in the middle of winter when I need a little pick-me-up.
This tea is SO refreshing. It is a great Pick-me-up for a flagging day. I feel refreshed and ready to tackle the next thing after a cup or two.
Strong but really good....even makes the trash can smell good when you dump the leaves!
I had a tin of this many years ago and really enjoyed it. Regret waiting so long to reorder--it's an exceptionally nice tea with an intoxicating aroma.
A pleasant, mild mint taste.
This is me and my husband's addicted tea for over 10 years. Best tea ever!
A great tea, not as intense of a drinking tea as other brands I havd tried, but, a very mellow smooth tea
I absolutely love this tea! Fantastic flavor, I love it for the morning. Amazing smell and taste!
Love my Moroccan Mint morning tea with frothed coconut milk & lots of dark coco sprinkled on top. Has been my addiction for several years now! Only the very best! Connie Birkland
Best tea I've had EVER!!!!
I have been drinking this tea for over 10 years, and it is by far, the best green tea with peppermint on the market. I place it in a special tea pitcher for full leaf tea and allow it to steep for 12 hours in the frig. Add ice and Stevia, and it becomes my "go to" drink everyday. Love it.
This is my go-to green tea. It's incredibly soothing and the mint makes it refreshing at the same time. Wonderful without any sweetner. Highly recommended!!
The mint is strong and smooth, but not overpowering. I also love the versatility of this green tea. It can be sipped on it's own, or mixed with various milks, soy milks, etc for decorating the original flavor. This tea never gets old, which is why it's one of my daily pots.
The bad part is that it is so expensive and all the tea I have purchased from you, I have never gotten a free bag or a nice discount. All I get is free shipping! It'd be nice if you can thank your customers who have faithfully purchased a lot from you to receive a bag free. I love your tea and wish I receive a thank you gift from you.
I just bought this and am taking my third cup - love it! The mint seemed a little too strong at first, but upon the second steeping, it was just right... A great, subtle balance. Very refreshing. I have a feeling this would be great as an iced tea too.
Out of all gunpowder mint teas I've tasted, Republic's is the smoothest with a perfect balance of tea to mint. Perfect any time.
This is my first time trying this tea. It's now my favorite
Delicious and refreshing both in the summer and winter. I make it iced in my Mr. Coffee Ice tea machine and bring it to work in a thermos.
Smooth but bold gunpowder tea with that hint of mint. I sweeten it with about 2 teaspoons of honey, yum. I won't start my morning without it. This tea is great though any time of the day. I first enjoyed a moroccan mint tea in a Mediterranean restaurant in Northampton Mass. Since then I have had only one tea that matched the taste and it is yours. Excellent tea and it is practically the only tea I drink now. It is good cold too. Enjoy.
Moroccan mint has been one of my favorite teas for many, many years. It's refreshing mint combined with the relaxing flavor of green tea always makes me feel so good. And on a chilly winter night, sitting by the fire with a good book and sipping tea--what could be better.
I drink green tea very often and never had this brew before, but now that I know how refreshing and good tasting it is, this is the only green tea that I want. Love it.
This is a pleasant and refreshing tea. It makes a very good iced tea
This is the best tasting tea that I drink everyday. I enjoy drinking this every morning!
I just tried my first cup of this tea and I am in love with it! It is the perfect mint tea! The mint flavor is subtle, not overpowering. But at the same time it is a flavorful cup of tea. Some mint tea's are so strong, and other you can hardly taste the flavor. This is the best mint tea I've ever had. A little sprinkle of Stevia or sugar and it is the perfect after dinner or late evening tea. I highly recommend this if you are a fan of mint tea!
I've tasted many teas. This is without a doubt my absolute favorite tea. The peppermint flavor is so pure - not that I don't like peppermint mixed with spearmint or lemon herbs, but here, you can taste the pureness of it. And the gunpowder green is something I'd like to try on its own as well. Combined, they are perfect - hot or iced, with or without sweetener. My preference is to fix it hot with raw sugar. SO good, I am never without it.
This tea is so very refreshing and relaxing, especially after a wonderful dinner. Just sit back and savor the tea.
