You have to measure out the teaspoons and depending on yo ur taste, maybe a bit more and make a paste to put in the teacups. However I use two to three teaspoons for a small pot and it is still just as good. It's very earthy and delicious. I use honey and frothed milk to complete it in the cup after I have poured the tea.

It's way overpriced for what it is. The color is a muddy green, like river water. It's probably best in a latte or for baking. It's not undrinkable but I won't be repurchasing. I like a lot of their other teas though.

I’ll still drink it but I won’t buy it again. It’s more grainy than I like and the flavor isn’t too strong which is great for some matcha drinkers.

I recommend whisking 1 bamboo scoop of this matcha powder with 2 ounces just below boiling water, stirring in any honey you'd like, then warming 2 ounces of milk and using a frother to finish. In my photo there is no froth left, but I assure you it had a happy froth on top earlier. It tastes pretty good. It tasted better when I had a different honey, but I ran out so I'm looking for another that will complement this matcha.

The flavor is pretty good, but the color wasn't the bright green that matcha-tasters look for. This one was a slightly brownish green color. It's still very tasty though, and not a bad choice!

IT'S HARD NOT TO DRINK IT FAST...SO DELICIOUS! I know for Matcha purists mixing quality powder and tea bags is a no no but when if they could experience the deliciousness they'd try it too. Thanks Republic of Tea for my new favorite drink!

This is my go to matcha when I am off work and have time to sit and enjoy my afternoon tea. I drink it cold, this is the best tasting matcha tea I have ever tried. This is definitely on my auto ship.

I think I will put this on auto ship until I get sick of it. The can is very small. Wish it came in bulk form.

To me the flavor is nice and smooth and mellow the way I like it to be, I do use 1 packet of stevia when I make this tea hot or over ice. Plus I have experimented and put a teaspoon in my greek yogurt, and have also even tried in my scrambled eggs, and not bad at all...! I have already ordered more to make sure I do not run out, I found out about Republic of Tea Matcha Tea Powder by reading an article in Woman's World Magazine, they are promoting matcha green tea powder as a diet aid, so time will tell for me if matcha tea does in fact help in the weight loss department, but even if it does not work well in the area, just that fact that it is organic and full of antioxidents and overall good for you health will keep me drinking Republic of Tea's wonderful organic green tea powder...?!

If you want to learn more about traditional tea ceremonies too, I would buy this and the matcha kits along with a book on Japanese tea. Enjoy!

This shopper rated the product 4 out of 5 stars This tea is grassy and slightly sweet, it is absolutely excellent for you and a wonderful general matcha tea. With that said, however, it is not top quality and I believe Republic of Tea knows this and is reflected in the price. Most high quality matcha tea is nearly double the price for this amount. The color of this matcha is not as bright green as some ceremonial grade matcha I have tried. Still, don't let that deter you. It is still organic, has a tremendous amount of antioxidants, and is wonderful for everyday use for relaxing moments. I definitely recommend.

I was fortunate enough many years ago to be able to go to Japan and particiapate in a tea ceremony. Now I can go back in my heart every time I enjoy your wonderful tea. And its organic! I used the recipe and love this tea as the soy cut down the vegetal flavor a bit. I most recently bought the whisk to try and make it the 'proper' way. I have really grown fond of this tea. I don't unfortunately have another vendor's matcha to compare it too.
