Because matcha became all the rage about ten years ago, I tried it a few times at my local, but wasn't wild about it. Having been a customer of ROT since the early/mid '90's, I researched the website to see whether they carried any matcha and found this Double Matcha. This is a staple in my diet and day. It gives me a feeling of naturally energy and makes me feel better and lighter than coffee, the flavor is more like a green tea than the grassier matcha (or a mix of both), and I used a few drops of stevia to sweeten it up. Also, I credit this tea with speeding my metabolism, and also losing some pounds. I did not not intentionally drink this for weight loss, but do attribute it to this tea, in part. I would recommend this tea if you're interested in a tea for multiple health benefits as well as flavor.

Our newest venture is the Double Green Matcha Tea. It has a nutty yet very slightly sweet taste and the perfect compliment after we finish exercising. Add a half teaspoon of actual Matcha to your cup of tea and you have a more intense taste.

I add it in with any tea I'm enjoying at that moment, just to reap any health benefits it has to offer.. I don't mind the taste plain, but with so many delicious flavors I have, it's just as easy to add it to something. I should at least say that by itself it is a deeper green tea flavor. Doesn't get bitter even when I leave the bags in my cup too long. Absolutely awesome when mixed with the Serenity tea!

Even though I didn't try it this way, I think this would be a great tea to make milk green tea out of for boba/bubble tea. Would definitely recommend making this tea and then putting in the fridge over night for some iced tea.

I actually only somewhat recently learned about matcha which organic or not, can be pricey. But honestly the benefits of green tea is a health investment. None the less, I came across this product at Whole Foods and being a picky label reader, I was impressed and had to try it. I was also extremely impressed with the price considering the quality based on the purity and ingredients alone (not to mention the reusable/recyclable packaging and all natural tea bags... as I mentioned, I'm picky so I notice these things). Anyways, this is the BEST tasting green tea I have ever had and such an easy, affordable, and convenient way to enjoy matcha on a daily basis. Not only is it the highest quality I've ever had (you can tell by the taste alone) but I was previously paying more to get about 16 organic green tea bags which is fraction of what you get here, and no amazing matcha! You can see its quality in the glass (I use glass cups), the green is so vibrant it's actually beautiful. This is the highest quality and best value tea I have ever had and is now my go to. You get so much matcha out of this, especially when you squeeze the tea bags, it's this deep emerald, creamy thing of beauty. Also these tea bags are perfect for putting on eyes, they're like little clouds! Topical use of green tea is great for the skin as well as drinking it so it's a little added benefit and super relaxing and refreshing.

I didn't want the "hassle" of whisking the powder form, so I decided to get the tea bags. Wow. All I can say is, wow. I love the smell when I open the can; I love green tea, but the ones on the market that are pre-made are all loaded with tons of sugar. But just opening that can! WOW! It smells so fresh and the tea bag makes it so easy....just drop it in your favorite tea cup, add water (just to boiling) for a good steep and within a few minutes I'm sipping a warm cup of some of the best green tea ever. Now! Here's a good surprise. I drank the tea beginning in the evening one day. I decided to drink it at least twice a day, to start my day & to end my day on a good note. At the end of the second day (that's with 3 servings in my tummy) I noticed that my feet, which are normally a little swollen at the end of a hard day...looked normal! My husband even remarked how great they looked! I didn't think about it at first, but now with almost a week of drinking this tea morning and night, I have not had one day of swollen feet! Also, I have arthritis in my arm...and that achy "toothache" kind of soreness hasn't bothered me for two days-- a rarity in my life! Anyway, I am pleasantly pleased with this product. I love the taste, enjoy the ease of preparation and a convinced it is helping the inflammation in my body, to help reduce swelling in my ankles/feet and the arthritis pain in my arm. At first sip, this tea seemed rather grassy, and pungent at that, like when you try to mow wet grass. However, as I continued sipping I found it more and more refreshing and somewhat grounding. Not bitter like some green teas, in fact, very smooth, mellow and somewhat earthy. Definitely perfect for this spring weather we've been having, now if only there were some green grass outside! I have to say, it really does grow on you! Perfect pick for spring and summer, and for a green tea, I give it a five.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars After reading about the benefits of green tea from the worlds healthiest foods website I decided to start drinking this green tea specifically due to the benefits of a straight and most pure form of green tea while still having a bag to steep in individual cups of hot water. After drinking 4 cups of this tea per day for the last 1.5 months replacing diet sodas I've been feeling a night and day difference in energy, been losing around 1lb every 1-2 weeks in weight loss (no changes to other diet and excersize), been less hungry overall, noticed better cognitive abilities, and the list goes on. This tea also has probably one of the healthiest looking green tints to the water and tastes better than any other green tea I've ever tried (tried dozens of different brands and types of green tea). I would highly recommend this tea to anyone who is on a quest to becoming healthier while looking for a great flavored organic green tea as well.

I drink a lot of tea and lived in Japan for a few years. It's hard to find decent green tea in the States unless you go to a Japantown, which I still do, but it's hard to beat the compact packaging here plus the comparable taste. This is a pretty good mix. In Japan the everyday green tea is usually the more peppery zen/sen-cha and matcha is usually sold separately. This is a really great mix between the two.

Known for it's strong antioxidants and other magical powers. It is an acquired taste. Honey or Stevia work best to make the taste more subtle as you adjust to a flavor you will want every day.

I have tried several and have brewed for friends/family and all have been so impressed with the quality and smoothness...no bite or after taste to these teas...just smooth rich tea flavor. I leave the bags in my cup to reap full benefits from the tea and it never gets bitter! So impressed!

To me, green tea was always bitter and lacked flavor. Well, that all changed when I spontaneously decided to buy this tea at Whole Foods. My god is it good, it's heavenly! No matter how long you steep the bag it does not get bitter. The secret to making this tea even better is to add a teaspoon of organic raw honey...it just may be the best tea i've ever had and I literally can not stop drinking it (currently on the 4th cup of the day!) I love this tea so much I just had to share.

I didn't like tea, so I was kind of stuck with coffee. UNTIL...my brother came to visit, and brought his very own Double Green Matcha. The second I sipped, I was hooked!
