This tea is smooth and soothing with great flavor. PMy favorite herbal tea I own!
I'd previously bought this tea in bags and enjoyed it very much, and since I've been getting into loose-leaf tea I figured I should go ahead and get it in bulk. I've tried it both hot and iced and wasn't impressed either way. I'm rather disappointed, to be honest. It has a funny aftertaste and isn't nearly as pepperminty as I remember. I don't think I'll get it again.
Extremely nice tea. Great benefits. My boyfriend drinks it regularly.
This was not the tea for me. I'm not sure what the flavor was, but I did not like it. And no matter how small of a strainer I used, it left nasty little gritty bits in the cup.
I love this tea so much! I have bought it in the past as a gift, and tried it after gifting it to my husband. Wonderful peppermint flavor.
I have been drinking it hot, but think it could be good as cold drink. I would prefer it bagged, just my preference. But will continue enjoying this tea.
Got this in a sampler travel tin size and fell in love with it. Was a while before I purchased more bec had several teas to drink first.
The aroma is strong and alluring. The flavor is bold, yet soothing. It's really an amazing tea.
Love the flavor 😋.
I never thought a mint tea could be improved upon, but the ginseng does the trick.
Great Tea. Love the fresh minty flavor and hint of ginseng. I wanted the ginseng but was afraid it would over power the mint. But it was perfect.
I reordered, that speaks for itself.
I think it's key to one's health to have mint tea, and this is the best one I have found. If you aren't Chinese, where do you incorporate ginseng into your diet? I deducted one star only because for full leaf tea, there is a lot of fine powder. It gets through the mesh strainer of my official Republic of Tea mug. But I can't imagine life without it, so I am on my second bulk pound of it.
This is one of the oldies-but-goodies on the Republic of Tea rolls, and I've been drinking it since the beginning. I'm not sure how I began since I'm generally not a fan of peppermint, nor of licorice. In practice, however, both are nicely subtle. All the flavors are well-blended and none are truly "forward" imho, though the sweetness others described comes through along with a touch of echinacea. Overall, a warm, comforting and energizing combination that will keep you reaching for that next sip. But what really keeps me coming back, caffeine-lover that I am, is the amazing effect this blend appears to have on my system as a whole. (None of this is tested or intended as medical advice - it's just been my own experience & of course, YMMV.) Simply put, I have staved off more colds and such with Ginseng Peppermint than I can count. At the first sign of a sniffle or tickle in my throat, I drink a mug or two or three, and my symptoms disappear. Was glad to see others have shared this experience. I've passed it along to many friends through the years. It's a great tonic for an upset tummy, too. I buy the loose leaf because I think the schizandra does a lot to help, along with the ginseng, echinacea, etc., and I like to be able to add a "booster berry" as needed. And I agree 100 percent - I keep a canister in my suitcase as well as my kitchen!
This is my favorite. I have been drinking it for years. It is the perfect combination. It tastes great. It's my first cup in the morning to soothe my queasy morning tummy. I believe the Echinacea and eleuthero-ginsing helps keep me healthy! It's also a nice calming cup before bed.
This subtle masterpiece is a gift from heaven! I first discovered it in a nearby coffee shop on a cold January day and from that moment I have been hooked. The hint of sweetness combined with the delicate aromas is enough to calm my tension or give relief to a cold and cough. I have never tasted another tea that can satisfy me more fully. Well Done!
You need to be careful with this one. Other teas you can let steep for too long or use too much, but this will get way too strong if you're not careful. Beyond that, it's an incredibly tasty treat.
This is a wonderful full bodied with many subtle flavors of which the peppermint is. Plus there is a background sweetness - again subtle but just right for me to decide it needed no honey, just take it straight on. I also like its ingredients. I find it very easy to measure out the 1 tsp which is a nice feature of a loose tea. I love it!
If you like cinnamon and licorice in your tea, then this is for you. I personally don't like those two flavors in tea so this gets a mid-range review from me. Its heavy on the cinnamon and licorice which gives it a sickly sweet feeling. Its not really a taste, more like a feeling. If you've ever had Throat Coat by Traditional Medicinals, this is just like that, but not as strong.
This is my go to tea when I start getting sick. A cup of this with a generous amount of honey and I start feeling better!
I have been drinking this for years. Tastes great, really fits.
I rarely use cap lock, but when I do, it's for this tea. I'm serious. This is hands down my favorite tea, ever. period. And coming from someone who drinks not only a lot of tea (2-6 cups per day) but a large variety of high-quality tea, I feel like that definitely says something. The peppermint is probably my favorite note...it gathers in the back of my throat very subtly and provides this wonderful sweet and refreshing aftertaste. I've had it full-leaf and in the bags as well. I am NEVER without this blend both in my pantry and in my purse for on-the-go. I prefer it hot versus cold, but that's just my opinion.
This is my current favorite herbal tea. The peppermint is strong but not overwhelming and the ginseng and licorice add a perfect amount of sweetness to make this tea both comforting and delicious!
I love this tea, but always add a little dried peppermint to boost that flavor.
Wonderful aroma, hint of sweetness, this tea when brewed right, is perfect over ice for the summer, and great for those chilly winter nights! I have also found if useful for alleviating irritating symptoms of mild colds and coughs. Soothing all the way!
Makes a good iced tea but needs to be mixed with other teas. The ginseng is a little overwealming.
A great mint taste, with a hint of sweetness. Another reason to buy this tea: it does wonders to help the sinus problems that come from seasonal changes and travel. I never travel without it!
