Unfortunately, it just tastes like a bland cinnamon tea and not the chai I was hoping. Maybe this company doesn't make a chai tea like I get at coffee shops to make a hot chai tea or chai latte since the other chai teas reviews sounded like they were lacking as well. Super bummed and disappointed as I am not a fan of this one.

Fruit? What?!" Maybe it's the cardamom, which I have not had in a chai before. I brewed it for a full 7 minutes, and added a little raw sugar and almond milk. The best chai ever.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars This is indeed TEA-riffic, just as Republic of Tea prompted me to put for a headline. It is a delicious and unique rooibos blend. One of the reviews that prompted me to buy this stated that it tastes like their favorite cola, and I agree! I don't know how they accomplished that flavor, but the orange peel and spices are perfectly balanced to hint at a cola flavor and amora. I happen to love cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, cloves and black pepper, so I knew that I would like this tea even before tasting it, but I think that folks who aren't necessarily fans of any of these spices (except perhaps black pepper, because that flavor lingers a little longer than the others) would also enjoy this tea because none of the individual spices is prominent in the taste profile.

My Red Chai is very tasty, but is healthy for me as it is an herbal tea. My doctor said I was only allowed to drink decaf or herbal (which is uncaffeinated) and since I like Chai tea, I thought ...how wonderful that their is an herbal chai. So, when I tried it and found I liked it with honey and without, it is definitely my favorite. I have been looking for an herbal chai for a long time with not much luck - some don't have enough spice, have weird flavors added, or are just bland overall. I ignored this one for a while because I was concerned that it would be too heavy on the orange peel or star anise. I had just about given up on finding a good one, but since I had tried everywhere else, and since I love so many of the Republic of Tea's other blends I decided to give it a try. It paid off! I had tried "rooibos chai" tea from another brand before, but for reasons I can't even guess at they stopped making it. I wrote to another company suggesting they make it. This shopper rated the product 4 out of 5 stars It's nice to have chai in a rooibos form, but I would prefer a more assertive and spicy chai. Still, it's a reasonably good alternative if you like chai, but not the caffeine.

I can't believe how much like "real" chai this tastes -- I brew it with 2 tea bags, add milk and sweetener, and it's every bit as good as Republic Chai Black.
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I buy this tea regularly for cold season. Everytime I get congested or start having the sniffles, I drink a couple glasses of Red Chai. It good for you because it's red tea and the chai spices will really clear out your sinuses. I swear it's also spicy enough to sweat out fevers. This tea always makes my colds more bearable and I look forward to adding maple syrup to it as I saw mentioned in a recipe on this site.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars The flavors in this tea seem very exotic to me, like perhaps a cup of tea served on the Orient Express. There is also the added benefit of settling an unsettled tummy. I love this tea just for relaxing or if I'm having tummy issues. Very soothing.
