The addition of rooibos powder is noticeable in terms of strength and body and it adds a subtle sweetness. I drink it with honey, but it would probably hold up and do well with steamed milk. I really hope that Republic of Tea makes a green rooibos version of this.

What they mean is Ounce for ounce, GROUND rooibos packs more than double the punch of antioxidants as rooibos in leaf form. However since it is both leaves and ground rooibos it would not be quite double. Drink the powder in bottom of cup for more antioxidants benefits.

Rooibos fits the bill, to me it has some grit which I couldn't find in any herbal tea . I buy many of the rooibos teas , but this "double " is my standard. I'let it steep for a long time to get it as strong a flavor as possible, I'm sure I'd buy a "triple rooibos" if there was one!

Since most Herbal teas include fruit & flowers that act as sweeteners, and the only sweetener I'm allowed is Stevia with no sugar added, I was surprised when I read raves about this tea and happy to add mine! Though the manufacture suggested I let the tea steep for six minutes, one minute of steeping gave me a flavor-filled tea that also has healthful benefits! After research it is found to be the strongest anti-oxidant in tea that exists. Red Tea is most often called Rooibos African Tea. It really needs to be called Red Tea as that is what all the buzz is about. The aroma is strong and somewhat like cinnamon without the sweetness. It is an acquired taste. But, once you adjust you will never go back. Honey and Stevia best used to keep it natural. Amazing double bang for your money!
