When I saw this tea I thought lets see if I can have another caramel apple. This is very tasty and you certainly can taste the caramel apple. Decaf so that I may enjoy a cup at night in this cold winter area.

I went out on a limb after trying a free sample of Mulled Apple Spice from a mail insert and I am shocked how much I enjoy this brand of teas. This caramel apple is lovely with a swirl of honey. Its worth noting that more than the recommended 8oz of water per tea bag is accurate. Double up if you want a larger stronger cuppa. Its such a great quality that 36 bags for $15 is an excellent deal.

All the ingredients play well together; the apple could be a little more forward, but I have no complaints. I do wish it had MORE of those two flavors, however. In South Africa, rooibus is often drunk with milk, and I like to add a little to this tea for a smooth creaminess that generally brings out any added flavor; milk in the Good Hope Vanilla really brings out the vanilla notes and makes them more present. I can't say the same for the caramel and the apple here. That said, I do add a little Caramel Macchiato creamer now to this, and that gives me something closer to what I had hoped for.

I sampled it from the Harvest Collection box I had in my first order, then ordered a full tin with my second order. A wonderful fall tea!! I don't find this tea to be overly sweet really (not as sweet as the Vanilla Almond tea), it's just a nice mix of subtle apple caramel flavors and something different than just rooibos with vanilla. Another good Rooibos tea is the Golden Pumpkin that I was very surprised to like.

Before I discovered it (years ago), I would often switch around different herbal teas to relax before bed at night. But once had a taste of it, that was it, nothing else will do. The vanilla, however, is so overpowering in the drink that this smells and tastes like a cigar. At first I tried the tea, and I couldn't quite pin why it was strange to me, except that it was strongly vanilla. Then my husband tried it, and said, "This smells and tastes *exactly* like an expensive cigar - here take your cigar tea back, yuck!". And not that is all I can taste, is high quality vanilla and caramel cigar :(.

It's a very desert-like tea, such a velvety and comforting flavor. The apple isn't too strong, more of a subtle backdrop in each sip. I love everything about this tea, I only wish each tin came with 50 instead of 36 tea bags! Will be re-ordering more.

Don't expect it to taste like apple cider because it's tea, not apple cider. The flavor is slightly tart and slightly caramely. I like it both with and without sweetener. I've tried several from Republic and have enjoyed them all. I was a little apprehensive of the Caramel Apple because I really wasn't sure how good caramel would be as a tea flavoring. I am pleasantly surprised that is a light flavoring, just enough to notice it. The cinnamon apple flavoring is pretty powerful, but I find that delightful! This is a great flavor for fall and winter. Certainly recommend and will be ordering again!

Some I have doubles of. When I discovered the tea I had to try it. I have purchased this tea 4x now. It is amazing with some stevia (I don't consume sugar or dairy) & coconut milk. I use a flavored stevia (like maple, brown sugar, or whatever flavor). It is warm, smells and tastes like fall! Worth every penny!

I'm sorry it seems like many dislike it but I want to take their advice and add sugar and milk and see if I like it even more. I usually drink my tea with only honey added as sweetener.

But to my disappointment vanilla was all I could taste :( I love RoT but this one unfortunately missed the mark for me. I find that doubling the bags makes a huge difference, but also makes you run through the canister too quickly. By doubling the bags I could really taste the flavor of both the caramel and the apple. It's great on a cold morning or evening. I will have to order more of this for the fall and winter seasons.

When I opened up the container, I was in love because I could smell the caramel immediately. So I made a huge mug and used 2 tea bags, but I could have gotten away with one. I added a little coconut sugar and the taste was like something I never had before. I drink coffee, but with teas like this I will be going back to drinking more tea. Will purchase again.

I recommend brown sugar and cream to taste to make the flavors bloom even more! I paired it with a chocolate chip and oat cookie and it made a lovely tea time! Definitely recommend this one!

I drink it all day long and never tire of the flavor. Since then I have turned several of my friends on to this tea and where to go to buy it. Sadly, Central Market in Southlake Texas has discontinued this flavor, even though they are ALWAYS out of it because we purchase every bit they get. I don't understand their philosophy behind that choice, but there are several disappointed customers! Please let us know who else carries it so we can purchase it in the future.

While some reviewers seemed to taste the caramel OR apple, I could taste both, and it doesn't disappoint. It reminds me of a crisp apple, drenched in warm, gooey caramel...mmmmm. However, I was delightfully surprised to find that this is a really good tea, especially since I don't really care for Rooibos, as it tends to taste very "weedy" to me. I didn't really taste the caramel, but the apple flavor shines through and it's very smooth. It's a nice evening tea.

I find the rooibos blends well with sweet flavors and fruit flavors and this tea covers both. The apple flavor is a bit strong, but in a good way.
