You need to be very careful to make sure to not use water that's too hot (I have a temperature controlled kettle, and use the 160 F setting), and also be careful not to brew for too long. If you are careful, though, the tea will be just lovely, and not bitter at all. As a white tea, it is very light. If you aren't a fan of flavored teas, you may not like this one. The flavor is lovely, but you taste the sweetness of the pineapple and guava more than the underlying tea flavor. Makes both a wonderful cup of hot tea or iced tea as well. One of my favorites!

I love the delicate and distinct flavor. When it was discontinued, I bought two 250 serving bags, which I have almost finished. So glad it's back. Please bring back the large, simple packaging bags. Less waste! In fact, all of your teas should be offered in resealable envelopes for less packaging waste.

Best white tea that the site sells so far in my opinion. A light tropical sweetness. None of that artificial chemical taste that comes with some sweet teas. I drink it without adding anything and it is perfect, just make sure you follow steeping instructions for white tea correctly :)

I have been drinking this tea for over 10 years and can not be without it!! When they discontinued a while back it gave me anxiety as I combed the internet for any remaining canisters and bought them all. I eventually substituted with Honey Mango but it wasn't the same. I was overjoyed when they brought this back. The health benefits of this white tea along with its perfectly subtle blend (not as acidic as green tea) make me leap out of bed in the mornings for this good for you treat.

This was my first experience with white tea. It is sweet and light and I absolutely love it! I use my electric kettle to boil the water, but then finish making my breakfast or do something so the water cools a little since you shouldn't use boiling water for white tea. I pour the water over the bag and then stir it around a little, use a spoon to sift the bag out, dip it back in and out a few more times making it seep for a total of about 30-45 seconds. It's flavorful, but still light and lovely with just one sugar cube. (I like my tea sweet.)

I absolutely love this tea. I add just a little raw agave nectar and sometimes a little splash of Patrone Citrone. It tastes great with just a little sweetener. If you add milk to the sweetener, it tastes like liquid cake. It makes me happy. When Whole Foods stopped carrying it and I couldn't find it anywhere, I was pretty upset but then I called Republic of Tea directly and thank goodness, they still carry it! It's my favorite tea. I drink it every day. I hope Rep of tea never stops making it. I don't think I could live without it...sounds dramatic, I know, but I really feel that way! Don't ever take away my PG White.

I use this to make iced tea and it is delicious. The pineapple flavor comes through, but not overly so. Then we add about 2-3 tbsp of organic raw sugar per eight-cup pitcher, which gives it just enough sweet to set the pineapple taste off. Very refreshing on a hot day.

I personally love white teas, but find that without any kind of added fruit or flowers for flavor, they tend to be almost peppery in flavor. Not a bad thing, just different. I wondered how pineapple, which can be overly strong in some teas, would work with a white tea. I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I, and my family, even those who do not normally drink much tea, love this tea! The fruit flavors are strong enough to be present without being in any way overwhelming. And they add a nice delightfully light sweetness to the tea. It's perfect hot but really shines cold over ice. This is my family's new go to tea for summertime iced tea pitchers. Awesome blend, highly recommended!
