This shopper rated the product 3 out of 5 stars I bought this as a gift for my niece with a tin of tea, and while the mug is beautiful and dishwasher safe, it seems it is not microwave safe which for me would be a huge problem. Maybe it’s just not microwave safe bc of the metal tea strainer inside, and I get that. But the box does not say microwave safe so personally I wouldn’t put it in one. For a college student that will seem to be a problem for reheating. Otherwise no issue with the mug (keep in mind that I haven’t taken it out of the box bc it’s a gift and am only going by the pictures and descriptions).

And I like the convenience of having the lid, infuser basket and cup all together when I pull it out of the cabinet. The recipient of the gift also really loves it! It makes a beautiful gift and I love it too!

Loved the steeping lid that also doubles as a coaster after steeping. Good quality and a sturdiness to the ceramic without being too heavy. The lid is heavy enough to stay in place but doesn't do more than just lay in place on top of the mug. The infusion basket fits the cup well and is pretty easy to clean. All in all a solid purchase for single cup steepers!

The fine mesh basket does an excellent job of letting the leaves unfurl fully, and keeping smaller bits of the leaves out of my tea. This mesh style is so much better than those with the ceramic tea basket/strainer. Plus it is looks great!
