(My husband feels this smells good but is flavorless.) I like subtle flavors. When I am choosing a tea to go with a food, I usually end up with this one because it pairs so well with everything.

In summer I love it in the evenings with a pinch of truvia and in winter I will add a splash of half and half with some sweetener and it is such a decadent cup of dessert tea! It is one of my favorites and enjoyed by everyone in my house except one who doesn't like almond.

The teabag was steeped for quite awhile for maximum flavor and the flavors just weren't there. The tea was weak, nearly tasteless. I was expecting much better from my favorite tea purveyors.

I wish it was heavier on the coconut. It's not very rich and makes a good wind-down beverage in the hours before bed. It doesn't have an unpleasant aftertaste like some of the other almond teas I've tried, either. Overall I recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing dessert tea.

That is not to say it isn't good, but I prefer a tea with strong flavor that leaves an aftertaste that lingers. I drank it with and without milk and drinking it without milk lets you tastes the tea better. If you enjoy light teas that don't leave an aftertaste, you will like it provided you pair it with rich desserts to make up for it. I didn't hate it but this is a tea that should be paired with desserts and not by itself. I'll buy it again, as long as I have a piece of cake to go with it.

My mom doesn't think the tea on its own is anything special, but she LOVES the muffins I made using the Almond Coconut Macaroon Tea Donuts recipe on the RoT blog. I added 1/2 tsp. almond extract to the recipe (plus an additional 1/2c. flour to my DIY coarsely ground almond flour) to make 9 muffins. Note that if you reuse the bags used to make the tea concentrate, it brings out a slightly salty flavor, so you may need to compensate with additional sweetener.

That is not to say that the tea is lacking. It just is not as strong in its flavors as its aroma leads one to expect.The flavor of the tea, I would describe as smooth and pleasant. I have had only 1 cup so far. I may try with a touch of sweetener. I feel that could be where the aroma and the flavor do not quite match. But, overall I like this tea very much regardless of the disparity between aroma and flavor.

At first brew, the fragrance had a "butter" type scent, which was disconcerting. The taste was extremely weak, no almond flavor whatsoever. It might be good for someone who doesn't like "strong/full flavor" tea. I personally enjoy the Peppermint Chocolate, Elderberry, Honey Ginseng, to help you out why it didn't work for me. I really wish Republic of Tea would offer samples of all their flavors for us to try, so we wouldn't waste product/funds.

I wanted to exchange it for another flavor, but they told me I had to pay for return shipping. Who does that anymore? My wife drinks hers without anything, but I have a bit of agave syrup in mine. The flavor is smooth and calming, but a slight hint of almond and coconut, and of course smells wonderful. We also order seasonal teas, and special teas, but this is our favorite all around!

It's one I've drank for years now and though I must admit I get bored with it sometimes, it's one I ALWAYS come back to. I love rooibos teas, and this is the best one I've had yet. If you're a fan of almond flavored foods, you will love this tea. I add stevia and sometimes a splash of milk. This one doesn't have much of a coconut flavor though, which I was disappointed with at first but I don't mind now. I still love this tea so much! One of my must haves along with Republic of Tea's Hot Apple Cider Tea (:

Somehow it tricks your brain into thinking it's eating a yummy sugary treat. I love it before bed or after dinner. I like it better than the Red Velvet Rooibos because I think the almond and coconut flavors pair better with the red tea.

It's great on it's own, but I like it even better as a pseudo-chai. I add unsweetened almond milk and a drizzle of either honey or agave. For those who feel it's not assertive enough, here's an idea: on days when I want it stronger I just add one more teabag—I don't find that to be too strong.

I've found that with a splash of milk, it's much too subtle for me. I tried adding some lemon and that brought it up to 'enjoyable' standards, though the lemon provided most of the kick.

The blend must be heavily sweetened to bring out its dessert nature, which is its major asset. I will reach for this blend only as a guiltless dessert substitute.

I bought it along with the Banana Chocolate and Coconut Chocolate teas as a desert tea to help feed my sugar cravings. While this tea isn't terrible, I feel like it's very light and the coconut flavor tastes artificial. I loved the coconut flavor in the Coconut Chocolate, but for some reason this one just tastes funky. I'm thinking if you enjoy the lighter tasting teas you might be a fan. As for the artificial coconut taste, it is probably dependent on the beholder. I know others have said they love this coconut flavor and hate the coconut flavor in the Coconut Chocolate. Perhaps that difference is in the degree of the coconut notes you taste (this being very light to me).

I love rooibos tea and its flavor is not overpowered by the coconut or almond flavors. That being said, you can still taste the macaroon and almond flavors - everything is perfectly balanced. This is a great dessert tea or something to sip instead of eating junk food.

I'm not a big fan of coconut flavored tea or coffee because I find them to be an overwhelmingly artificial coconut flavor (can't even stand the smell). However, this is the most pleasant coconut flavor - not artificial at all. Love it!

The layers of almond and coconut with just a hint of sweetness makes the best iced tea. I do add a little sweetener (I'm a Southern gal) but I think I found a new favorite!
