I bought this with my tea order recently and these steep sacs are really handy to have when you don’t feel like getting out your diffuser.
Just what I was looking for for my loose teas. Easy and convenient.
I love these things! They are so easy to use and you have nothing to clean up afterwards. So convenient in the morning or on the go.
I love these unbleached tea bags for loose leaf tea. Also great that there are 100.
I am a real tea lover and enjoy the full- bodied flavor of full - leaf green teas. But, the cleanup after brewing a cup was always messy. So glad I have now discovered the Steep Sacs offered by Republic of Tea. Just spoon in your favorite loose leaf tea, allow to steep, then remove without fuss. Just like your own personal tea bag!
These steep sacks are a must for your loose leaf teas. Their generous size allows the tea leaves to expand properly and fully release their flavors and nutrients.
Fun and effective. I can mix loose teas for new blends in the tea seep bags vs a dipping spoon. Can make stronger teas too.
Very convenient and easy to use. I use them to brew iced tea.
Great product
Steep sacks make brewing full leaf loose tea easy. And you can mix different types of tea together and even dried fruits and you don’t need a strainer. They’re great.
These are so useful! If you double up the bag, add mulling spices, tie off the top, you can infuse juices, cider AND fruit that you are canning. Yummm
I drink loose tea leaf tea always. So having this steep sacks are very useful when I can't use my normal tea pot.
As someone who is trying to reduce my waste, this is nice when I want to have loose leaf tea on the go. They're a bit big for a normal cup of tea, but I just fold it down several times and its just fine.
I'll be buying more.
Great for loose tea or coffee when camping
These things work amazingly. Very nice tea bags. Have not noticed any escaped leaves or anything.
I buy several loose teas, and these steep sacks are great for that purpose. Personal preference, for me, this is better than the other methods (tea ball, infusers).
I make my tea in a large 20 oz. mug and these steep sacks were long enough so the flap drapes over side. The bags are large enough to hold the amount of tea I need for my mug. I really like how easy clean up is. Just toss it into the compost pail.
These are absolutely the best. I grow a lot of herbs and dry them for teas, these are perfect.
Cleanup is much easier than with the basket that came with my teapot!
I enjoy drinking loose-leaf tea. So, while traveling, having these bags sure help when I have to microwave my tea.
My mom and I have been looking for something to use to steep our many many loose teas in. These are fantastic and can hold so much tea. The price is awesome and super reasonable. Super happy find.
I use these tea sacks for my loose tea to keep the infuser clean. They are ideal and perfect for this purpose. Of course, I will use them when making a pot of hot tea as well when I want more than just one cup at a time.
I prefer brewing up a pot of tea. However, when traveling, I use these steep sacks so I'm still able to enjoy my loose leaf tea favorites.
I like using unbleached tea bags rather than bleached ones as well as both the used tea leaves and the bag can be put into my compost!
When I don't want to brew up a whole pot of tea, these bags are perfect for a single cup of tea or for sharing loose leaf tea with a friend.
While I usually use the infusers I have on hand, there are times when I need these steep stacks. These work very well indeed. They are tall enough to use in a small teapot, and work in mugs as well as teacups. Recommended.
I have filled thousands of tea Sacks and bags over many years and I much prefer tea sacks and tea bags that have drawstring enclosures. Less tea, herbs, and spices tend to eecape through drawstring enclosures.
These are absolutely the perfect size for all my tea needs - they're BIG so I can use them for cup, tea, pot, anything. I'm an herbalist so I'm always steeping something and these are my go-tos! I also feel better knowing they're compostable and make without plastics :)
I bring tea to work every morning in my 24 oz. insulated travel mug. I have not been able to bring tea made from full-leaf loose due to the inability to use tea balls as the chain gets in the way of the lid. These sacks allow me to use the full-leaf loose tea (enough for 24 oz) and hang the sack over the edge while the lid holds it in place. It's perfect!!
I love these sacks. They're perfect for using loose leaf tea at work, without having to scrub a stainless infuser basket at the sink. They do not change the flavor of the tea.
The steep sacks are great for making tea using loose leaf tea. Very convenient, no mess or strainers to have to clean.
I love these, nice and easy to use.
I love how tall these are!
Great for all of our loose tea steeping needs for a wide variety of loose leaf sizes.
I tend to like to mix different teas to make my own flavors (lavendar/rose petal, cinnamon plum/coconut). These steep bags make it very easy to measure out just how much of each flavor I'm looking for. And cleanup is easy. I always make sure i have some on hand.
Very ingenious and allows me to break away from regular tea strainer. I will definitely order again.
These bags are the best for loose tea, so neat and no mess to clean up. Love them so much I bought a second box.
Great product to have. Fits perfectly in my big mugs and smaller cups. You can make up a few with space to label them. Don't have to worry about tying them.
These sacs are handy and make loose tea easy to prepare. They eliminate the need to clean a tea ball or strainer.
I love how big they are and how much control they give you. I can make a stronger or weaker cup of tea. Or I can mix a couple different loose leaf teas together! I can enjoy my own flavors, and I love that the bags don't hurt the environment. I use these up to 3 times a day!
Generous size extends to bottom of cup with plenty of room for top tab to fold over rim. Very handy and easy to use.
I generally use a French Press for my coffee. Someone gave me some coffee already ground for a drip filter, and I really liked it. So I tried these bags rather than pulling out the coffee pot. Works amazing!
Bay is long, open end drapes over tea cup, great flavor from the loose tea, but no loose tea in cup!!
These steeping sacks are perfect for loose leaf tea, no matter how fine the leaf. They do a great job keeping all the smallest pieces contained. I tie a knot in the top after adding tea for extra security.
My husband and I both drink tea in the mornings, but I don't always want the same tea as he, and we favor the full-leave loose teas. I love being able to scoop up as much tea as I want for the strength level we want - and I can just tie a knot at the top of the bag and have something to grab hold of when I want to pull the bag back out!
This place is awesome the tea strainers work really well. My order arrived very sanitarily packaged and shipped quick.
I really like the use of these. I wish there was a way to close it and not have it hang over the side.
These bags work well for loose-leaf teas, keeping random bits of tea out of the steeped tea, which is my main complaint with tea balls, etc. The bags are a little too large for my single-cup applications, but I worked around that by cutting each bag in half, then folding and stapling them, making two bags of tea from each sack.
I used these bags for my Iced Thai Tea and they are the perfect size for all the ingredients.
I LOVE my sipping sacks! Two of my teapots have built in strainers but the sack is convenient because it does just one cup and no clean-up mess! Just pitch the used sack and leaves in the compost bucket! Although I do admit that I sometimes miss seeing the spent tea leaves. So amazing how they expand!
Love the steep bags especially for a pot of tea!
Could never figure out an easy way to brew loose tea - this product is it!
these bags are so user friendly for tea, chai, mulling wine... I use them almost every day, at home and at work. I really dig them
These sacks are great to use up that fine powder and small tea leaves in the bottom of your loose leaf tea bag/tin. But I had no idea they were so HUGE! It's only a small detail, but I'd like to have an option to buy a smaller size. I realize this large size must be in demand obviously, but I think the larger bag size also makes it harder for it to steep in smaller cups. Either way, it is definitely a great product. Thanks!
I personally like my tea to steep a long time and often drink on the go in a travel mug. These steep sacks are the perfect solution to holding in the loose tea without the need to worry about a strainer or diffuser. Love them!
I wish it came with a tight cover so it can be used in a teapot or large container for iced tea. I really prefer cold brewing my ice tea. I have fashioned one, using nylon fabric and elastic cord, but ithe elastic doesn't hold up long using boiling water. I was anxious to try the floating infuser, but the reviews changed my mind. If it had finer mesh stainless steel and an easier to open lid, YES, I would want it! Until then I'll stick with "make your own" tea bags and the nylon basket!
These are so easy to use, I'm definitely drinking more loose leaf tea. Ordinary steepers let small leave through and are annoying to clean all the little leaves out of the holes. I like that the bags are long, so they are easy to use in teapots or as someone else suggested, easy to fold over and take to work.
I have some lovely loose teas, but didn't use them much as I am basically lazy and hate straining the tea as I pour it. Even tea balls often let the finer leaves slip through. This works beautifully and it's an easy clean up too. Just like a tea bag, it's easily tossed into the compost pile. As I said, I'm lazy and now there's no leaves to dig out of the pot.
Did you know you can make your own togo teabags? Just fold the flap over and iron shut and voila!
