This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars The green is calming and a pleasant hue, especially in the morning. Like the steeping lid that doubles as a coaster. Good quality ceramic and comfortable handle. Keeps tea warm for a while. Bought this one and the blue also. Gave the blue as a gift, but now want both colors for myself. Don't really use loose leaf teas much, but it was nice to have the strainer included just in case. Great mugs.
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars This is nicely sized for two Republic of Tea teabags. I like the simple but pretty design and color, plus it feels comfortable to hold. The thing I like the most is probably the coaster/lid that comes with it. You can cover your tea if you need to keep it warm for a while when you step away, use it to protect delicate surfaces from the mug, or even put it to the side and place used teabags or loose leaf on it until you are ready to dispose of them. Only real knock against it is the loose leaf basket can be difficult to remove from a hot mug, but using a tool like a butter knife makes it easy enough.

It was a bit of a stretch...we drank a lot of tea together when he was much younger and I wasn't sure he'd like it or not. But I knew none of it would go to waste, bc I'd drink it! It turned out to be one of those Vulcan-mind-meld moments...he had been on R of T's website a week earlier and almost bought this for himself. He loves the mug, keeps it washed and at the ready for one of his birthday loose-leaf teas. And I'm thrilled to have another thing to share with my grow up kid!
