Excellent example of a Darjeeling tea

I wasn't sure if this would have the lighter bodied, floral muscatel notes of a true Darjeeling, but it absolutely does. This is a beautiful lighter tea meant to be enjoyed plain or with a bit of sweetener. A very enjoyable cup of tea and as usual, RoT manages to provide a high quality tea. I can only imagine how good their seasonal first flush Darjeeling must taste. For those who haven't tried Darjeeling, don't expect this to be dark and bold like an Assam you might find in their plain Assam, Lucky Irish Breakfast or in the English Breakfast teas. This is a lighter tea with a subtle and complex taste, but you should definitely try it.

I like this Darjeeling as it has a very smooth non bitter taste like some black teas do. I drink different teas at different times of the day and this is my perfect breakfast tea.

The tea just seemed on the weak side. I prefer a much more robust cup

This tea is both fresh and cozy on bleak winter days. I like to add a splash of milk on occasion as a little treat but the tea tastes lovely plain, too.
