This is my favorite tea flavor. I would love to see a 250 bag refill option.
I came to republic of tea for this flavor. It is delightful. It is my go-to tea and never discontinue it!
My personal favorite fruity black tea. This tea has a unique flavor that is a great balance between tea and fruit, letting you have the nice back tea flavor coupled with pleasant berry flavors. I gave this tea to a friend and it immediately became her favorite tea as well. If you're skeptical, it's at least worth a sampler in my honest opinion.
This is my favorite tea flavor. I love the hint of fruit flavor. I struggled for a long time finding a tea I liked and then it would be discontinued. I've been very happy with the availability, quality and taste of this one!
This tea makes me happy. Out of all the berry teas, this one is so authentic and bright. It always cheers me up, and when I don't know what flavor to drink, this is the best choice. Definitely recommend.
This is my daughter's favorite tea (she is 12). It has now become one of my favorites. She has been drinking this since it first came out years ago and will only drink this tea. I have to keep it on my list every time I order.
this is a delightful raspberry tea, I just love it.
Good black tea with fruity overtones. A very nice afternoon or breakfast pick-me-up!
Refreshing tea
I bought this tea last year and thought it was just delicious! Same thing happened this time when I bought it! One of the best teas I've ever tasted!
I really enjoy the flavor of this one!
Super delicious, very fruity with lots of flavor!
With succulent berries as sweet as the love story of Downton Abbey’s loyal ladies’ maid, Anna, and valiant valet, “Mr. Bates,” R of T’s brisk black blend is a smooth and spirited sipper that celebrates the initially star-crossed couple’s happy ending. Featuring a hint of honey finish, this charming cuppa is equally enticing as a soothing hot drink or refreshingly iced. Either way, it is a touching tribute to the downstairs duo who showed eventually love triumphs over all!
This is our favorite tea to have on Sunday afternoon with my granddaughters! It has a very smooth berry taste and I like to put some creamer in it.
Great tea to wake up to. The fresh fruit taste does perk me up in the morning and is very refreshing. Hope this is always available.
Very nice blend and it is not sweet. Been getting this one for a while
Delicious tea. It has just the perfect blend of berries and yes, a touch a honey (as the description) says really helps bring out the flavor. I think this is going to be one of my favorites
I love my daily tea. I decided to buy this one since I love teas with berries in them. While I can distinctively taste the berries, the black tea is overpowering the berries and I get a bitter taste. I won’t be buying this again.
BrambleBerry Black Tea is the best ever ! I even got my mom hooked on it !
Have loved the flavor since it first came out.
I have purchased this tea several times and plan to always have it on hand. It is a delicious iced tea and if find it very refreshing. I’m primarily an iced tea drinker and enjoy this year round.
I bought this for a friend. She raved about it! She stated, The tea is absolutely delicious!
I have been buying this flavor of tea for the past ten years and it is one of my very favorites. I love how the fruitiness blends with the black tea. It is one of our go to for iced tea all summer. It's great hot too.
I buy this frequently - love the taste!
Still my most favorite tea ever grown anywhere. I truly love this blend. I just wish it was a bit more affordable for my senior budge.
This is one of my very favorite teas!!!
I continually buy this one each time I get low. Black tea can be bitter and the berry softens it. I add only a little bit of cream which makes it even tastier. Delish.
My favorite tea, with passion fruit papaya a close second.
I love it. Tastes great.
Love this tea! The berries are just bright enough to really shine through the black tea. This was a pleasant surprise for me - all too often the nlack tea overpowers anything else.
This was gifted to me and was such a pleasant surprise. I know it’s a berry but was a touch too tart for me. But it is very tasty iced and I’m continuing to enjoy it.
I love this tea so much I order in bulk. Please do not ever discontinue it.
I buy this tea every time I reorder. It's a staple in my home. It's a wonderfully subtly fruity iced tea.
This tea is very refreshing and light! A great tea anytime, but especially in spring and summer.
Bate’s Brambleberry Tea is my absolute favorite. It is a most delightful tea!
Lovely tea.
This tea is absolutely my favorite that I have bought so far. Fruity and light, but still incredibly flavorful. The fruit notes aren’t overpowered by the black tea. It makes a wonderful, balanced cup.
Love this berry rich tea! I drink it as iced tea. It has a lovely deep flavor, with a dash of lemon it is perfect.
It is a nice tea. It even holds up to a little milk and sugar- but does not need it.
I love the Brambleberry black tea. It has just the right blend of fruits. One of my favorites!
Got this for the first time a few weeks ago. Excellent flavor!! Do not need sugar, it is so delicious!! Would definitely get again.
One of my favorite teas ever. Light and fruity. Good hot and cold.
I love this tea. I have been looking for a great berry tea, and have now found it. It is now my daily main tea. I have ordered it 3 times and will continue to do so going forward.
Love this for iced tea. Great hot too!
Delicious berry tea, with a subtle sweetness. I bought this tea for the container, but was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy the tea itself.
I love this tea with a full flavor of berries. It is one of my favorite teas that I drink in the morning. In some teas with berries, you can not taste the berry flavor, with this one you can. I bought it because I am a Downton fan, but will continue to buy due to the flavor. Really love this one!
I ordered this tea because I have never heard of brambleberry tea and was curious. It is delicious! Such a perfectly lovely tea any time of year.
I’ve re-ordered this and love the bright fruity flavor. Black tea is my favorite, flavored black teas are the best.
Loved it. Tried it as a sample then quickly ordered a bag of it. I have had it everyday since it arrived. I prefer a black tea and this has a great blend of fruit.
Best tea I ever had ! I am more of a sweet tea person and it’s fantastic hot or cold !!
I like this and it smells really good. Make sure you add honey to bring out the flavors and a touch of sweetener.
I missed the old Raspberry Black tea and tried this in its place and its fantastic. Please dont discontinue it. Its great iced and hot. I drink it both ways and my family loves it too.
I enjoy their berry & blueberry teas & enjoy mixing these as well especially with blueberry hibiscus for a slight tart & enhanced berry flavor. Try it with Triple Earl Gray it’s delicious as well.
This is probably my all time favorite from Republic of Tea. It’s the perfect cup of tea anytime of day and in any season.
This tea really couldn't be much better. The berry flavor is really nice without being overpowering. I love it! Definitely a new favorite
This tea is great with a splash of half and half. Reminds me of my grandma serving fresh picked berries with half and half. But it sparkles served over ice. It’s very refreshing and smooth. Perfect for a hot afternoon.
This is my current favorite! Delightful hot or iced, it has a wonderful berry flavor without being tart or acidic. Perfect balance of the berry flavor and black tea.
This is perfect for spring & summer iced tea. This is the only super fruity black tea I've ever found & I'm in love.
I just love this tea! Bramble berry tea is an all time favorite. It is smooth and balanced with a delicate fruit essence.
Downtown Abbey Bates Brambleberry Tea is probably my most absolute favorites. It's is great anytime of the day.
I like fruity teas and this one fits right in. I will continue to buy.
Makes a great unsweetened tea. A little honey can be added if you would prefer.
This was such a great find. I am grateful that I found this tea, it is absolutely wonderful. The flavor is fantastic.
I've never tasted brambleberries before, but, after drinking this tea, I would love to find some! I initially tried it as one of the Downton Abbey teas. That collection of teas has so many uniquely flavorful teas! And now I get the refill anytime I get low, because this is in my top 5 favorites.
I throw this one in my daily mix. Just the right amount of fruity.
I love my Brambleberry tea, it's my favorite!
I have ordered this tea a few times. Each time I have a cup, I remember why I keep ordering it. It's fruity without overpowering.
A tasty treat!
I absolutely loved Downton Abby and this is my absolute favorite tea from this collection. I love the "fruityness" of this tea and it's just so nice on a cool morning.
This is one of my favorite teas and I have purchased it multiple times. It is great with a splash of creamer to cut the blackness of the tea.
This is a favorite afternoon tea for me. A pleasure to sip. A must have in the fall.
Excellent balanced berry flavor--fruity yet not too fruity. I like this hot, but it would probably be great over ice by the pool as well.
I am very picky on my fruit teas. I love this tea. Hands down one of the best fruit teas ever.
I am a huge fan of RoT Blackberry Sage, and I wanted to try another fruit-flavored tea. This one is nothing short of amazing! It is sweet and delightful, and it is now my most favored tea. I understand why this is listed with the dessert teas: sweet treat without a load of calories. It is the best tea ever.
The Downtown Abbey Bates Brambleberry Tea is just stupendis. This blend of berries and tea is a perfect summer refresher that stimulates the senses and titillates the tongue into submission. Best served with a dash of honey and lemon. And it will make you want to sit down and binge watch the tv show.
This is the perfect tea for the summer.
I love this tea! It has deep berry flavors without being tart. Delicious hot and iced. Lately I've been combining it with a little Jasmine Green tea for an obsession worthy summer sip.
This is a tea I bought when I first noticed it being advertised with a Downton Abbey connection. It's a very comforting tea to drink and has a wonderful flavor.
This is a nice summertime tea. I like drinking it iced. It has a refreshing berry flavor, no sugar necessary!
This is a solid berry tea that has jammier berry flavor (unlike the Blackberry sage which is definitely more tart). Definitely a good tea and I would recommend it to the right person, but I don't feel like I need to order it again.
I make this as an iced tea: it's sweet enough without sugar, and the berries' make it especially refreshing. SUPER.
Nicely bright berry flavor! Like others mentioned, this makes for an excellent Iced tea but is a bit mediocre hot. No additional sweetener needed for this fructose forward berry flavored black tea. I don't pick up individual berry flavors but does fill a 'generic' berry profile well
I love this tea as part of my iced tea in summer. I use 2 Brambleberry tea bags and one iced tea bag (black tea as well) and cold brew it. So refreshing! It still tastes like iced tea, but with a lovely tart berry flavor. So good!
I am a fan of Downton Abbey, so I decided to try this tea. It is delicious hot, but I love it even more over ice. (Since it has caffeine, I feel better putting it over ice!) Nice and fruity, it's a great pairing with sandwiches and shortbread cookies.
I bought tea refills and this Brambleberry Black Tea sample was in box with order. I tried it and loved it. Tea has great smell and very good flavor. It's a Downton Abbey special blend. Very Good Product.
I love this tea! It is a great summer time tea. I love the light fruity flavor. It is great hot or iced!
I usually purchase at least three bulk bags at one time, unless there might be bad winter weather. Then I will buy a few more just in case we get snowed in. In any event, I have to have my Brambleberry Tea, on hand, at all times. It's the best.
Mr. Bates Brambleberry Tea became my favorite tea after I was sent a sample in one of the Republic of Tea's catalogs. For fear of them discontinuing this tea, I recently ordered 3 refill packages to make sure my supply doesn't run out any time soon. And as always the customer service is exemplary.
I have been purchasing this tea for several years now. I always keep some on hand. I like the berry flavors on this tea very much. I enjoy it both as a hot tea and as an iced tea.
One of my top 5 teas ever... and every time I open the tin I'm reminded of one of my favorite TV shows ever. Please don't ever change the tin!
The Brambleberry Black Tea is one of our favorites. Once we tasted it, we try to keep it on hand all the time for a Berry-delicious cup of tea. It's full of flavor and great anytime.
My favorite tea! The flavor is perfect for a cup of tea with a bagel in the morning. Light and fruity, full of tea goodness.
This tea is great hot but even better iced.
This makes the best Iced tea and is a favorite in our house during those hot summer days! Truthfully I've never used this during any other season, probably because I've used it all up during summer! Delicious and no sweetener needed.
There are so many wonderful tea flavors through RoT, but I have to say this Brambleberry tea is on my "Do Not Run Out" list....love the different berry and fruit flavored teas...this one joins the Blueberry tea and Blackberry Sage tea at the top of that list...such a soothing cup of tea ! ! !
I LOVE all the berries in this tea, it is very light and easy to drink, and it is already sweet even without any honey. Overall very light and flavorful spring/summer tea
I am a big fan of fruity teas in the afternoon. I really enjoyed this tea which seemed very similar to another of my favorites,Blackberry Sage, which I have in decaf. Overall a very nice, fruity tea with the blackberry very much the first taste. I can't wait to try it iced!
Full of berry flavor! Very nice to have monthly delivery!
Heavy on the berries, not one of my favorites...however, I am a ROT Blackberry Sage Fan!
I was looking for Raspberry Sage Tea (which I love) and this popped up, so I included it with my order. I'm so glad I did, I know that I'll be ordering it next order!
Enough berry flavor for it to be tasted and smelled. The black tea rounds out the flavor. No need to double the bags. No need to add sugar either.
I have a cup of this every evening just after dinner. Sometimes, I even ad a bit of Cognac to it. This is the perfect after dinner tea. It's hint of berry, and you will be unable to distinguish just which kind but it will remind you of perhaps a cross between blackberry and blue berry, does not over power the tea. You will find yourself relaxing, settling in for the evening, and wondering just where that book is that you put down the night before.
This is a great tea! A bit pricey but I use my points so can have it more often. A special occasion tea, if you will. .
This tea is 100%. I've been sipping teas from The Republic of Tea since before the Honeysuckle Tea was removed from the line up. Somewhere pre-2006. This Tea is a new favorite.
Love the sweet berry flavor of this tea. Drink it every day.
Thus is a lovely, delightful tea. A cup is perfect on a cold day.
Brambleberry is my favorite fruit forward tea! Purchased time and again, it's always on my refill list to have on hand.
This is hands down our favorite, I drink it warm and hubby likes it cold brewed. It isn't bitter and it isn't super fruity, the prefect balance of sweet to drink it without anything added
I like black teas with berry flavors.
Standard "berry" flavor. Not bad at all...just not exceptional. < shrug>
I just tried this recently and really like it. Nice black tea with some berry but not too fruity.
I can't tell you how many times I've purchased this tea. It's so very fruity without any bitterness. I even mix it with other teas if making a large pot such as the Vanilla Almond Black and it's like drinking desert Calorie free!
This is my all-time favorite tea. My family loves this berry taste that is not just a delicious smell but also tastes this way (unlike some other brands not from this website). Love it and keep buying it. We also buy this type as presents :) Cannot start my day without a cup of brambleberry tea, hmmmmmm
I tried rambleberry tea for the first time and I am in love. It's going to the head of the favorites list. I just wish it came in a larger size (are you listening Ministers?)
This is a wonderfully fresh tasting tea with just the right amount of fruit taste. Some fruit teas have a distinctive fake fruit taste-not Brambleberry. It's perfect in the morning or for an afternoon break from.work.
Good for something different than my usual go to's
I thoroughly enjoy this tea. My husband, the non tea drinker, always remarks 'this smells really good'. I hope they continue this tea for years to come. I have this one on repeat,
Use a little honey with hot tea, you will be pleasantly surprised.
We love this brambleberry black tea. We mix it with the wild blueberry black tea. My son can't get enough of this tea...just wish it came in a 50 count like the blueberry!!
This tea is delicious. Lots of berry flavors!
This is one of my favorite teas! I love fruity black teas!
This has become one of my very favorite teas. Love the fruity flavors. This is my go-to when I'm not sure what flavor to brew. And it never disappoints.
When RoT temporarily ran out of the Brambleberry Tea refill pouch i found out that this was the exact same tea. Just with the Downton Abbey themed canister. I love the Brambleberry, but knew nothing of the tv show. Well, out of curiosity, i found out where to watch Downton Abbey. Then i began my journey with the beloved characters and their dramatic lives. I've finish all 6 seasons and just bought both movies. Now that i know all the characters I've started sampling some of the other Downton teas. Thank you RoT, you've really opened me up to a whole new avenue that I'm now completely in love with!
I received this lovely tea as a gift shortly after it was created! This is a joyful yet gentle tea that I enjoy hot, cold, sweetened with a bit of real maple syrup & a squeeze of fresh orangè or Meyer Lwmon juice.
Love this tea whether it's iced during the summer months or hot in the winter months has a great flavor that combines several different berries, if you tend to enjoy more fruit based flavors check this one out!
A nice flavored tea, not strong like ginger peach. Both the berries and black leaf flavors are mild. If want iced brew double strength.
I love the flavor of this tea - like sweet strawberry jam. Hot or iced, it's great either way.
Tastebuds are fascinating. I read several reviews before buying and have a different take than others. It's good but not amazing. I am a berry lover and ultimately, this is a black tea with berry accents. I agree with other reviewers who would prefer a different tea base. I think white tea would be perfect.
This is my second favorite tea of all time.
I have tried so many of the Republic of Tea options but in the end, this is my go-to favorite. I find this to have such a lovely flavor and all the body that I love in black tea. I pray this one doesn't get phased out any time soon…I'd miss it terribly.
This is a most excellent tea! Love the flavor, no sugar needed! I drink this only iced.
Add honey! It's amazing!!!
The mix of berries and black tea is just perfect in this brambleberry tea. You can taste berries and yet it does not overpower the tea. We love drinking this after dinner as a dessert in itself.
I'm a picky tea person loving fruit flavors but I do not care for any herbal blends of which there are many. My favorite it Peach - just plain peach, no ginger or almond or anything else. This is a great, fruity berry blend that meets my challenge. Wish there was a Peach Keen one! Also, when is Be Merry coming back!
Really great berry flavor in a true black tea. We love it. We could drink this all day.
Always looking to try something new to add to my favorites.
Love the opportunity to purchase refills of my favorites!
Splendid tea blend — our favorite! Very natural aroma. Berries are a pleasant and berry ;) noticeable flavor. The packaging of the refill bags is very helpful to keep tea fresh and deliciously smelling. Only wish that refills also came in bigger bags.
This is my favorite tea, I love the flavor!!
I am so happy to have found The Republic of Tea! I became totally obsessed with Downton Abbey and bought their flavors, and I'm now hooked!. The teas are wonderful and they are delivered in a few days. I bought some for my sister-in-law for Christmas and now she's hooked! We love these teas.
The flavors in this tea are absolutely fantastic. Previously one of the Republic of Tea's other flavors of black tea was my favorite, and had been for over a decade. I have recently tried this tea, and it is definitely my new favorite flavor. I do still order my old favorite too though.
I love the berry flavor of this tea. I like it hot but really enjoy it iced in hot weather
This is good tasting tea. You can taste the berries in it - they don't get lost in the black tea like they do in some other black teas. It's more subtle than if it was an herbal tea but it's still a good tasting tea.
The description of this tea pulled my in but it is the blend of berries that will keep me it a fan favorite. It saddens me that it says on the tin it is a limited edition. This is a definite keeper in my cupboard. I guess I need to buy more so I have a store of it before they quit making it.
I really liked the flavor of this unusual tea.
I wanted to try something a little different than what I usually buy and this was a solid choice. Every bit as flavorful, and still very distinct. Good stuff.
Brambleberry Is my favorite morning hot tea. It's smells wonderful and tastes great!
My family loves this tea. You can taste the flavor of all the berries.
This is a good fruity tea. Full strong fruit flavors. It's good, but the price is high for the amount of tea bags. It's like your paying for the name on the container.
The black tea is very mild, the fruit gives this tea most of its flavor. It is very berry ful. It doesn't need much added sweetness so go very easy on the sweetener you use. I enjoy this as a desert tea by itself. No other treats needed.
I purchased this because I loved the Downton Estate Blend. The DEB has a stong flavor profile, so I figured this tea would be similar. Its good, but its definitely subtle compared to Blackberry Sage.
Light flavor. Wonderful tea!
I love this combination of berries! It really needs no sweetner at all. I wish it came in bulk as it would quickly be on my auto-ship.
this is a keeper flave is great this will buy again
The tea is so comforting! There is a berry undertone that doesn't overwhelm. I added just a touch of honey...about a tsp....into my tea, which made it utterly perfect! I highly recommend the tea to anyone who enjoys a mildly fruity tea.
I love this tea, and aside from the wonderful taste, it always takes me back to a bakery in Whitehorse, Yukon, where we got "bumbleberry" muffins one morning (slightly different berries, but same wonderful concept). Just wish they came in bags of 250 . . .
An amazing berry flavored black tea. Don't miss this one. I only wish they sold it in a tin.
Full natural berry flavor without overshadowing the black tea base. Delicious both hot or iced!
I love the fruity flavor!
I love the berry flavor of this tea. Its my favorite. I've reordered it many times
Blackberry Sage has been my absolute favorite tea for years, but the Brambleberry is now right up there tying for number 1. This is a terrific tea, with real fruit flavor, especially the strawberry. I discovered by accident, that the fruitiness actually is more pronounced if the tea is sipped at very warm temps instead of hot. Taking it one step further, it makes the absolute BEST iced tea. I drank it by the gallons this past summer. Wonderful, wonderful tea. Highly recommended!
I really like this tea. It has a clean, yet subtle fruity flavor.
Really good tea. Nice and smooth
This tea is wonderful. I love the taste. It's just sweet enough, but not too sweet. Just luscious
The smell of this tea is intoxicating. It tastes just as delicious. This is not a subtle fruit flavor. Highly recommend if you enjoy both blackberries and Downton!
Really enjoyed the taste of this tea, have only made it hot, hope it is something that will be available after the down town abbey promo, is over.
I bought this because I'm a huge Downton Abbey fan and found the tea quite delightfully delicious.
Strong berry flavor which is enhanced with a little bit of honey. If you like fruit teas, this would be a good addition to your pantry.
I ordered this as the fruit in it sounded fun. The flavor in this tea was even better that I expected! It does need a little sweetener to really make it coalesce. I'm so glad I ordered this one -- I am enjoying it so much!
Loved it from the first sip! A smooth, rich taste. Definitely recommend it.
The tea is delicious! It has a nice fruity flavor. Tea is great hot or cold.
Love the Brambleberry tea.
This is a wonderful flavored black tea with light sweet fruity notes. It is deliciously any time of the day. Love it!
Thank you for bring back the Brambleberry tin. This tea is excellent iced and needs no sweetener.
I love this Bates Brambleberry Tea. It's got a hint of fruity sweetness with no actual sweetener in it (yay) and makes a great iced tea in the summer. I also enjoy it hit as an afternoon tea.
This tea is delicious and just what I was hoping for. It's excellent hot or iced and has just the right amount of berry flavor to complement the black tea base. The berry taste is natural and does indeed taste of the berries listed. When I first purchased this tea the Downtown Abbey Tin was not available just the refill bags so I'm very happy that it is back so I can get one to use with the refills!
This tea has a wonderful flavor!. It is great either hot or iced. I love to serve this tea with friends. It makes a delicious tea for parties or luncheon get togethers. Light delicate taste. One of my favorite teas.
Years back I bought some tea from this company. When I got my order they also sent a sample tea bag of this blend. I liked it. Very good. Back then there was no refills. You would have to buy another tin of this tea. Now there is no tin to put the bags in.
I love this tea any time of the day! So much flavor and it never gets old!
I like black tea and berries. Lovely combination and my very favorite breakfast tea.
A few years ago I received a sample of brambleberry tea in an order i had received. I fell in love with the fruity berry concoction. I can taste every type of berry that is listed with a smooth black tea lingering in the background.
I was out of Downton Abbey Bates Brambleberry Tea. I tried to reorder, but they were out. I emailed to find out what could replace it. This tea was suggested. It was totally wonderful and tasted divine!
Oh wow! This brambleberry black tea is so delicious! I like to try different tea flavors and share them with my friends. Please keep this tea in stock!
One of my favorite teas and my kiddos also give it 2 thumbs up! PLEASE also offer it in a tin or be able to purchase one separately!
When this arrived yesterday I immediately made a pitcher of ice tea. Using a Mr Coffee tea machine, I used 7 tea bags to 2 quarts of water and steeped the brew for 4 minutes. (I use the same proportions to make Cranberry Blood Orange ice tea.) Not too strong, not too sweet, pleasant black tea flavor with fruit notes. Refreshing. My only complaint is the lack of a tin. I realize this is no longer being sold as a Downton Abbey limited edition, I realize that buying the bulk bag "reduced excess packaging - no tins...", but I needed to repurpose one of my Cranberry Blood Orange tins to store the tea bags. One of these days I will want that tin back when I buy a bulk bag of that tea. Republic of Tea: if you do not intend to make a tin specifically for this tea (or any other tea which is only available in a bulk bag), make a generic tin and offer it at a nominal price. I believe there is a generic tin available in the large display tins; use that as an idea.
Wonderfully smooth tea with just the right berry flavor... not too heavy or too light. And since we're reviewing the tea and not the packaging, I give it high marks. This was formerly a Downton Abbey Tea... Bates' Brambleberry Tea. I believe when it was under its previous name, it had many wonderful reviews. This is one of my favorite TROT teas.
This is one of my all time favorites! I love the blackberry, rasberry and assorted berry flavor. It makes me think spring time! It isn't too tart but has a natural sweet and smooth flavor.
I bought it as Downton Abbey tea and used it for special occasions. Now I can replenish my supply
Tea arrived today and from the first sip the family has decided that this tea must be kept in stock. Not overly sweet, but full of flavor. Didn't think they could outdo their Blackberry Sage, but this may just be as good if not better.
I thoroughly enjoyed the sampling of Bates Brambleberry Tea i received with my PBS order. It has a well rounded flavor, not bitter at all. I expected it to be really sweet, am happy to find it is not. I prefer honey to sweeten my tea and this takes honey well.
I would buy, and try, this tea if it came in a tin. I didn't buy this when it came in the Downton Abbey-themed tea, so I have no tin in which to store it.
This tea is so awesome. I love it for breakfast, I love it before bedtime, I love it in the afternoon. I got 1 tin as a gift. Just wish I could get more of this tea....
If you, like me, where heartbroken to find that TROT no longer carries Downton Abbey Bates' Brambleberry Tea, the good news is that THIS IS THE SAME TEA! I was so excited to find this, that I bought two bags immediately. This beautiful black tea is brimming with delicious berry flavours. It is hands down my favourite TROT tea ever. I hope that they never stop making it! (I would love it if they would make a decaf version as well, for me to enjoy at night.)
The tea is always very smooth and enjoyable -- cold or hot! The staff at Republic of Tea is the best!
I tried this is the DA sampler pack and couldn't wait to buy a tin! Smooth, fruity and absolutely delicious. Adding milk wasn't a problem as even though it was fruity, it wasn't acidic. Delightful!
I can honestly say that I can't go a day without drinking this tea. I make it iced, by the pitcher, and every evening the pitcher is empty. Luckily, I have the tea on auto-ship, so I never have to worry about running out! I like to brew a pitcher with 6 bags of the brambleberry and 2 bags of the blueberry black. That is an excellent berry blend for summer or year round!
I wanted to try this tea because so many berry teas leave you wondering where the berries are. I enjoy the flavor both hot and cold
Ok, there is no doubt it caught my attention to see Mr. and Mrs. Bates on the container. So, I thought, what the heck, why not. What I found was a wonderful and tasty delight. It is a good combination of fruity and gentle tea. I have been using it in my Arnold Palmer's and it has become a favorite. You really should give it a try.
This tea has a great balance of fullbodied black tea with a decadent berry flavor. A little sweetener and a dash of milk is how I like it best.
Tasty tea but needs more intense berry flavor
This is my new favorite tea. I love to have it for dessert in the evening with a bit of honey and half and half, while everyone else is having ice cream. It's a perfect dessert!
This is a delightful tea, and it makes a good cup of iced tea as well. I would also order it in bulk if that were an option.
I do like this tea, but when warm, it just doesn't do it for me. Cold though, oh my that is a whole 'nother ballgame. When chilled, the flavors of the berries come through, and it's a lucious cup of summer. I really like having it with a dollop of whipped cream for a decadent, but still healthy, treat.
This is my new favorite tea! It has the most wonderful aroma and taste! I would love to buy it in bulk.
Even when I'm sick of berry green teas, this one is delicious.
My Daughter and I drink a LOT(!!!) of tea and this is one of our all-time favorites. It is perfect to drink with nothing added as the fruit gives the tea a gentle sweetness - overall, a definite 5 star experience. I only regret that it does not seem to come in bulk, so it makes it a bit unhandy to order 4-5 canisters at a time!
This tea is perfect for true berry lovers. It tastes amazing hot, which is so hard to find with fruity teas. Most taste too tart when hot, not this one. So yummy, smooth berry flavor, no tartness, I'm pleasantly shocked and am very impressed. I have never seen this show, but I hope this tea remains forever.
Love this tea and all of the berries. My new favorite tea.
Added a bit of honey and a splash of milk. It was absolutely divine!
Love this tea. It is refreshing and lightly flavored with mixed berries. Love it in the AM or late in the evening. Considering how much I love the Bate's as a couple on Downtown Abby, I would expect to love a tea named after them :)
I really enjoy this tea... it has a rich but mellow flavor and is very satisfying first thing in the morning. I, too, would love to have the option of buying this tea in bulk. I hope it is still available once "Downton Abbey" ends its run!
I just tried my single sample and was immediately captivated by its pleasant aroma prior to tasting it! Needless to say, the flavor was enchanting as well! Although I had made an earlier web purchase, I went right back to website hoping to purchase Bates' Brambleberry Black Tea, and was sadly ;>( disappointed... It's SOLD OUT; and I know why! The stuff is Delish!
I finally tried my sample of this tea. I would really like to see refill bags of 50. I love this tea and it is perfect for my picky palate.
I'm with most of the other reviewers that would love to buy this in bulk, or without the tin. My tin is needing to be refilled, soon. I love the berry flavor mixed with the black tea. I add a little bit (OK - a lot) of honey & some half & half & it is splendid.
I have tried so many teas that would satisfy my morning coffee craving and I think I have found it here...The wonderful aroma of this tea fills my kitchen while brewing. I would really like to see this become available in loose tea and or refill packs. Please do not stop selling this after the show goes off the air.
Downton Abbey Bates' Branbleberry is one of my top two favorites (Jerry Cherry Black Tea Bags is my all time fave.) A little disappointed that I can get it in the 50 refill packs. I am down to my last 4 in the cute little can, but refuse to buy another can. Please Please issue this wonderful flavor in the refill packs.
I've tried a lot of black tea with berry flavors. This is the only tea that does not overpower you with berry flavor. The rick black tea flavor is prominent and the berry flavors and mild, very smooth and not sharp or acidic in the least. I was skeptical until I tried it and now it is my favorite black tea.
Love the flavor of this. Also loved the old Berry Basket back when it was available. Blueberry black tea was a decent replacement for that for me. But Brambleberry is now my new favorite. Would love for this to become a regularly available tea instead of limited edition!!
First off, I'd like to mention that I hope we see this Limited tea stick around and that I've love a refill option for my tin! (And a loose leaf version, but let's start with the basics.) Smell: Amazing. The bags themselves smell great and I enjoy how it transfers to the brewing process. It's an enjoyable sense from start to finish. Taste: I love this tea hot. I love this tea cold. I just plain love this tea. There was no additional sweetener (which I find generally overpowering, personally) and it doesn't need it. It's the perfect combination of fruity and light for the spring/summer seasons.
I didn't like this one by the cup in the morning, I found I LOVE it by the pitcher over ice. It does compare well to Blackberry Sage.
While I enjoy many different teas, the BlackBerry Sage has been my "gotta have it on a daily basis" tea for several years now. I have to say, Bates Brambleberry tea is equally delicious. It doesn't have the refreshing sage notes, but the berry flavors are divine. It's like drinking a cup of springtime. Very fruity, not too floral and not sickly sweet. I really hope this tea is here to stay.
This tea has become my absolute favorite! It is definitely the best Downton tea (with the exception of the Christmas blend, which I haven't tried yet). I love waking up to this tea each morning. It gives me something to look forward to. I hope they continue selling this, re-labeled, after the limited time it's available as a Downton tea.
This is very good tea. I wish it came in loose leaf and that it wasn't a limited edition!
I received the sample bag with a catalog and I really enjoyed it. The taste of the fruit comes through very nicely. But.....36 tea bags? Not 50 like most cans? They must be paying a lot of money for the actors' images to cut the number of tea bags by close to a third of other teas. I will buy it once, but probably not again at this price/quantity.
I received a sample of this tea with the catalog and finally tried it today. It is delicious and taste like summer fruit. It's so smooth and leaves no aftertaste. I will definitely order more and try it with cream.
This tea is so delicious! I'm ordering a few more cans right now. It's so good with some milk and sugar. I didn't want to like it as much as I do because it's pricey compared to their normal non soap opera teas, but it's worth it!
A nice 'fruity' tea. The berry taste is very good - not 'perfumy' like some teas (probably artificial flavors). I use it at school (I teach) with trivia or a touch of honey.
A sample of Brambleberry arrived with the catalogue. "Oh, that's good!" It was good enough that I broke my rule to never pay shipping. I either take advantage of specials or order enough that shipping is included. I had just placed a large order before this sample arrived. It was good enough to break my rule. But I still do not know what a brambleberry is!
The aroma of this tea brewing is nearly as delicious as the taste of it! The berries that are in this really blend so well with the black tea. It's a very summerlike tasting, balanced blend. I am back for a second tin, and I really hope that TROT carries this for years to come!
All the flavors of summer! This is the best if the Downton Abbey teas that I have had!
Smooth, not harsh or bitter. Taken with sugar and a splash of cream. Like eating a fresh berry pie. Delicious! And I'm not usually a fruity tea lover.
Fantastic berry tea. Nice smooth tea. The aroma while steeping is amazing and the berry flavor is fantastic. Will definitely order again.
I am in LOVE with this tea. I love to brew it overnight and have it for ice tea. Delicious berry flavor!
As advertised, the fruit flavor is not as pronounced if enjoyed plain. Adding sweetener brings out the delicious berry flavors. I tried French vanilla creamer with it as well; although this also tastes fine, it would be just as enjoyable with sweetener alone.
This teas has a wonderfully crisp, sweet flavor to it! It's very enjoyable on these cool Fall nights Michigan has been having recently. Curling up with a mug-full reminds me Summer WILL come back again! :)
This tea is best served cold. I would prefer a stronger berry flavor. I will enjoy it, but would probably not order again.
It is great hot, no doubt there. But being a fruit black tea, had to give it a try. Brew this for 12 hours in cold water overnight and it's amazing.
I fell in love with this tea. The berries in this wonderful tea not only smell wonderful, it tastes fantastic. If you love fruit teas, this is a must try.
This tea is AMAZING. First off, it smells SO good while it's steeping. And the taste doesn't disappoint. Up till now, my favorite fruit flavored teas have been Cranberry Blood Orange and Wild Blueberry but this one is my new favorite. I'm a huge fan of Downton, but even if I wasn't, this tea is a must have. I hope the Republic eventually makes it available in bulk because, unlike most of the other Downton teas, there is now counterpart to one in their normal lineup that I can buy to refill my tin. I heartily recommend giving this one a try, you won't be disappointed!
