The chocolate and strawberry aroma is decadent enough to conjure up images of ripe red strawberries wrapped in layers of gourmet chocolate; yet the flavor of this tea is light and smooth, not at all sugary or cloying. I add stevia leaf / monk fruit to sweeten, and a healthy dash of almond milk to bring out the tea's milk chocolate hue. I was never a fan of rooibos tea, honestly, until I started drinking RoT's chocolate teas. Thank you, RoT for making rooibos taste so delicious!

I'm so glad I decided to try it. You can really taste each of the flavours in it, and the rooibos was definitely a good choice to go with it. I mix mine with plain almond milk and stevia, but it's already sweet on its own. This is definitely a tea I will buy again.

The balance between strawberry, rooibos, and chocolate is perfect. You can really taste the chocolate and strawberry, and the rooibos just pulls it all together. The flavors are not heavy, but definitely there.

For myself, I got the bulk bag to refill a pre-existing tin. Then I brewed some and sipped away while playing a video game involving various Valentine sweets. I thought I smelled the sweets' aromas coming off the screen. Now, why would that happen? No fear and no guilt about consuming too much sugar here.

In contacting customer service, I was told they no longer carried this tea and to try Chocolate Strawberry tea. I took the advice I was given and was very letdown. There's only a hint of strawberry flavor, though the chocolate flavor is more pronounced. It was a very disappointing purchase. PLEASE BRING BACK CHOCOLATE CHERRY!!!

I like to drink this tea (and its Cuppa Chocolate siblings) in the evenings as a dessert tea, or in the winter as a nice, cozy, feel-good tea. I should note that I hate, HATE!, the taste of rooibos. To me it tastes like envelope glue and I want to spit it out immediately. For some reason, this tea and the other rooibos-containing Cuppa Chocolate teas do not provoke the same reaction. So, fellow rooibos-haters, you might give this a try.

I've had chocolate teas in the past that were disappointing, but I am so glad we tried this! Strong cocoa/chocolate taste and strawberry is not overwhelmed. A+

I don't often add honey or sugar to my tea as I don't want the extra calories but I find that this tea benefits from a small bit of stevia added in terms of making the flavors a bit more pronounced. I'm not upset I purchased this and I will finish the tin but it is one I'd probably not purchase again in lieu of trying other offerings from RoT.

It has plenty of flavor, it's just not a good flavor. Horrible aftertaste. Now I'm stuck with a whole can of it. I'm not sure I'd even give it away. Yuck.

I've tried steeping it for longer, sometimes even keeping the bag there but I still just taste a hint of the strawberry and chocolate. It's an okay tea.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I loved this tea for its subtlety, but I will note that it's best steeped long as possible (15-20 minutes) so that it's strongest in flavor. As chocolate teas has been for me, the chocolate can't have the mouthfeel of hot cocoa or a real chocolate bar, but the strawberry is wonderful. It's actually tart like the fresh fruit, but the chocolate is more airy and light. When I want chocolate at night, I drink this and it satisfies the craving. Definitely more decadent with milk and sugar. I've made it iced with milk and sugar to sip on outside and it's wonderful. Light "dessert" in a cup. I can see why one might find this underwhelming, but if you're like me and prefer drinks that don't punch you in the face you'll like it!

I add a few bags to my chocolate chai that I drink for iced tea, along with the reishi mushroom chocolate tea. Together they are amazing! I sweeten with stevia due to health reasons and this has become my favorite daily beverage.

As soon as I opened the can and put my nose up to the container I could smell the heavenly scent of both the chocolate and strawberries. It takes a little while to figure out how long to steep the tea bag in order to get the perfect richness and taste. Those reviewers who said the flavor was too weak for them perhaps should experiment a bit more with this process. I'm still working on just the right amount of time, but I'm enjoying the process regardless. Lately I've been adding half & half, warmed in the microwave, to the tea, but that process too needs refining so that I know how much is just the right blend. I'm working on that, but the tea is good even on it's own.

The flavor is faint, and this is coming from a non smoker. I'm not happy with the tea at all and it's a waste of money in my opinion. I am however, trying to figure out what to do with the 35 tea bags that are left. Maybe ill give it to someone.

Strawberry and chocolate fragrance is strong while seeping, flavor very much support the fragrance. I give it a 9.5 out of 10. Top score for tea on this company's website, along with Double Dark Chocolate Mate. I have tried 14 different flavors from here searching for the best dessert tea.

The strawberry is the initial flavor, with a subtle chocolaty finish (think mate) enhanced with a touch of sweet vanilla. No sweetener needed, but a splash of milk or cream gives it lovely body that feels like a treat. Not in-your-face like hot cocoa, but subtle, refined, and pleasant. My go-to tea for any time. We brew a large pot with three decaf black tea bags and one of these chocolate strawberry tea bags and it makes for a tasty balanced flavored tea that polishes off a meal nicely. Wish it had more flavor all around but I feel the same about the other chocolate flavors I purchased so it may just be me. Still a nice tea and I will certainly finish it but wouldn't re-order.

I can definitely say, without a doubt, that this is my favorite tea of ALL TIME. It is SO good!!! I was a little skeptical, having tried "chocolate" teas from other brands and being disappointed at the weak chocolate taste. However, this stuff is amazing! I quit sugar a month ago and this has become my stand in. A little stevia and a splash of unsweetened almond milk and it tastes like strawberry chocolate milk. Delicious!

So I didn't get this one off the website.. but I found it when i walked into my local coffee shop to kill some time before a dr's appointment one day. They were giving samples of this wonderful stuff and I figured why not. One taste later and I was hopelessly hooked. It has the great rich earthy undertones of its base flavor, but the other flavors mix with it so well. It can be a tad bitter if you dont give it a shot of simple syrup or a couple of beet sugar crystals. But other than that there are no drawbacks and i totally recommend this to everyone that loves tea, chocolate and strawberries.

They brought me a basket with many flavors and I selected this little chocolate beauty thinking that I would NOT like it. I grabbed a second bag so I could have the name of it and company and I have been ordering from the Republic ever since. I fight a constant weight battle and this little beauty does help with those chocolate cravings. I just love it.

While the package suggests steeping it for 5-7 mins, I like to steep for a minimum of 20 mins and use two bags- the stronger, the better! The chocolate flavor is airy and light, and the strawberry too- not like some products that have a strong artificial flavor. It's very calming and soothing- great for any time of the day. It blends well with a dash of sugar and milk if you like, though I prefer it as is. And I think consuming rooibos on a regular basis has helped with my seasonal allergies, as this last spring was one of the worst on record in my area, and I barely sniffled. Gotta buy it in bulk now- I run out of the little tins in two weeks!
