This is a must-have for loose leaf teas. It's so easy to use and clean.
I love it, wish I would have bought one a long time ago
Love this tea tool!! You can use loose leaf tea with it or if your tea bags leak it can be used to contain the loose leaves.
I love this handy tool. I had another infuser before this that I thought was good, but when I got this one I realized how much easier it was to clean and convenient to use. It fits all the cups that I use for tea, and it makes saving, drying and reusing the tea leaves a breeze. I'll say it again, I love this infuser.
Very high quality tea infuser that fits many cups and tea pots. I use it with both tea bags and loose leaf teas.
I love this for my loose tea. I really like that it rests on my favorite cup or even a tall glass. No chains or multiple pieces to handle. Simple!
makes quick brewing easy
The first one i ordered was damaged (the bottom piece was separating which would cause tea leaves to slip through into the cup). They quickly sent a replacement, and it's definitely better, but there is still a slight gap which I don't love. Overall a positive experience, but the product I'm not too impressed by, although it'll do the job until I find a better alternative!
I bought this not knowing if it would fit in my biggest tea cup but I took the chance and it fits! Very well made and holds quite a bit. The holes are very small so it works very well for my loose leaf tea.
I love this easy to use and clean
Great for loose tea!
I absolutely love these! I have tried many different tea infusers for loose leaf tea, and so far these are my favorite. They fit perfectly in different sized mugs.
The components of this infuser are super solid and seem like they'll hold up to anything, bit the basket is attached to the collar in the most flimsy way possible. I used this for about a week and the two parts came completely apart and there's no way to reattach. Unless you're prepared to baby this item like it's made of glass, I don't recommend
Perfect strainer.
Perfect for my loose tea. Fits most mugs. Better than tea fine mesh sieves I’ve used.
This one fit nicely over my 20 oz. mug. I really like the ease of use. So far it is holding up nicely. I was worried about rust. I wash it and dry it right away so it looks as good as new.
Very sleek and easy to use
I used and loved this infuser for several months about 2-3 times a week. Then one day, I lightly taped it against the counter and the rim broke away from the basket. I miss using it very much, but I'm hesitant to buy another one for fear it will come apart, too. And I'm afraid to try gluing it back together, as I would have to find a glue that is safe and could withstand heat. I replaced it with the "floating" infuser, but that one is not nearly as good. I recommend it, but with caution!
This infuser is so convenient, easy to clean and fits into everything!! I tossed the others that I had!
This is a very nice tea infuser. It is very sturdy and well made. The holes are very small, so you don't get bits of tea leaking out like happens with cheaper infusers. It holds a good amount of tea, so you can make just a small cup or a whole pot.
I waited almost a month before using this classy Christmas gift. It is beautifully designed and seemed almost too nice to use. However, the gift giver wanted to see her gift in action. So we each made a cup of tea after trying it on for size with different cups & mugs. It fit well.in everything, except for my Amsterdam-style teapots. It was not narrow enough for the teapot openings, so it will work best for cups and mugs. The Universal infuser is a special addition to a tea service and very giftsble!

I have a few infusers, but they all came with mugs or teapots. They only fit the thing that they came with. I bought one of these for my mom and was so impressed, I had to get one for myself.
The metal seams are inside the infuser and I find it hard to clean the bits of tea out of them, especially a problem with herbal blends. If these seams didn't trap small pieces, I would give the product 5 stars. I like that this infuser is rather large and gives lots of room for the tea to expand in the water. -2 stars because it's hard to clean.
I bought one for home and one fir my rv. It makes making my tea much easier.
It certainly does well at straining fine particles. As mentioned in a previous review there is a space between the vertical basket wall and the solid collar that sits on the mug, and that space catches tea leaves. It is a difficult and annoying space to clean. Also, the metal conducts heat MUCH better than my plastic infuser basket so lifting this infuser out of hot tea was dicey. Will be using this for cold brews and as a strainer.
The infuser works great. It has the "ears" that span larger mugs and is of good quality material and well made. The problem comes with trying to clean it. I always just rinse my infusers with warm or hot water. I never use soap on them. This infuser has a "lip" where the strainer portion is connected to the top ring. Unfortunately, this "lip" protrudes far enough that it catches the loose tea. I actually had to pull some loose tea out from under this lip with tweezers. When it takes longer to clean up than it does to make/steep the tea, I cannot wholeheartedly endorse this product.
Loved it! Exactly what I needed for my slightly larger cups! Until.... it started rusting after the first 2 weeks of use even with careful rinsing and drying after each use. I would happily pay a bit more for a 316 stainless (won't rust) version. Yes, I would recommend based on efficiency and ease of use and size. (handles are a blessing with arthritis) No, I would not recommend until it's a better quality stainless.
I use this most often for milk oolong, which comes in pearls. This large infuser gives the leaves plenty of room to fully unfurl and still be submerged in the water.
This makes it so easy to make a single cup of delicioius tea. I am very happy with my purchase!
Love this infuser - it fits my big mugs and china cups, and can hold enough for a pot of tea as well. Nothing gets through the fine mesh, so no bits of leaf to contend with. Washes up quickly too. Yes it is a bit pricey, but it is far superior to the other stainless steel infuser offered here at a third of the cost.
I just used the infuser this morning, as I often do, for a great cup of tea. It is great- no leaves in the cup and a nice cuppa.
I'd hesitated to order one of these because my teapot has one that is built into it. This is *so* much easier to use. It's easy to pick up from the teapot without burning myself, and I can use it on a single mug of tea as well for a quick cup when I don't want the whole kettle. I'm back to buy a second one for me and one as a gift for my dad, a fellow tea aficionado.
This is by far the best infuser I have ever owned. It is made of one piece, solid construction, so it won't fall apart. It is wide enough so it fits every cup without having to fish it out of large mugs. The basket's holes are so fine that even delicate tea leaves don't slip through.
This infuser is quite handy. Like to buy teas in bulk, and do not like the bags, so this infuser is very economical.
This is very easy to use in a multitude of containers, and its fine mesh eliminates a lot of the residue.
I bought this infuser for my loose-leaf teas - and I am ever glad I did! It is the best infuser I've ever used! It fits tea pots and mugs. With the wide "wings" it sits nicely without falling in, and is easy to remove from whatever container is used. The mesh - which is composed of very small holes drilled into the sides and bottom - is extra fine, allowing little to no bits in your pot or mug. Very easy to clean, as well. A product well worth the price!
This is one of the best tea products I have ever bought, next to my mug warmer. It fits in a broad variety of mug sizes as well as tea pots. Plenty of room for your tea to open up and unravel while steeping. Some tea expands quite a bit. The tiny holes rarely let any tea leaf particles slip into your cup. Top rack Dishwasher safe. I drain the water after steeping, lay it on it's side on top of the cup for a few minutes to further drain then place it on a plate and then re-steep again later. Very durable and well built. Buy several. Stop using paper sacks.
This filter is awesome. It is very deep and wide for lots of tea but the main reason I got it was to prevent loose tea from getting all over the kitchen sink. The filter holes are very tiny which is good in my opinion.
This is so easy to clean and doesn't hold the last teas favors
