This mint is quite strong so if you are not a big fan, use it with some other tea, if you're using a dozen bags per pot, the way I do. I am enjoying the experimental phase.

My only wish is that it would be available in refill pouches with 50 teabags- I don't need another tin, and 250 teabags is too many to order at one time because I alternate this with ginger tea for my last cup of the day.

My GI doc said peppermint oil (in Altoids, etc) was good for IBS but I like to drink this real Peppermint tea instead of the candies. The tea tastes much better and I'm still getting the peppermint oil. I drink it iced while I am working and it is very refreshing!

As far as peppermint, Republic of Tea has a really weak flavor. I honestly consider this one more of green tea with a hint of peppermint. I would only recommend this as a form of green tea. I'll be sticking with my usual Organic Peppermint tea I drink now.

For years I have been searching for a solid mint and while this one is pricey it is excellent, especially when I toss in a few fresh spearmint leaves from the garden. I am very pleased that this is organic because considering the amount of peppermint tea I drink, and am drinking for health purposes, that it be as clean as possible. It is also delicious, which helps since I drink so much of it. If I had any quibble, it's that it could be stronger, but the other peppermint teas currently on my shelf just aren't as tasty as this.

Organic tea is more long the lines of a white tea. I purchased this for health reasons and was not disappointed because I was looking for a caffeine-free tea with these attributes. I have grown peppermint in the past and with just drying & rolling the leaves it has a similar flavor.

When I opened the can, I thought, "weird, this smells like it's got cumin in it." The smell is warm instead of cool and refreshing. I tried a cup and the taste was also unexpected. I was hoping it would be potent and very peppermint-ey, but the cumin taste was also on the palate. I waited a day or so and tried again. Same thing. I smelled my other Republic peppermint teas side by side with this one. Definitely different. I've loved peppermint all my life. I grow it, drink it, and use it in cooking, so I'm pretty sure I'm not crazy. This is simply different. So while the taste is not off-putting to me, and may taste great to others, it is not what I was hoping for.
