I make a matcha lavender drink by mixing 2 tsp. Matcha powder, 1 tblsp. Hot water and 1 1/2 tblsp. Cane sugar simple syrup in a tall glass. I then add 1 cup barista oat milk and about 1/2 cup of ice. Then in a 2 cup measuring cup I put 3 tblsp. Heavy cream, 2 tblsp. 2% milk, 1 tblsp. Torani lavender syrup and 1 drop of purple food coloring. Whip it for about15 seconds with a hand frother then pour over the matcha tea in the glass. Fair warning... This is really addictive!

It's alright for lattes but you have to use 4+ grams to have an average-sized glass of iced matcha, in order to somewhat taste it. I tried it with almond milk with banana and a teaspoon of matcha but first i whiskedit in a small amount of hot water so i can melt it well and its green color and poured it with my milk. So loved it! Now i'm looking for more. Not all store carry it. Wish it has more content in the pouch so it can help save more money.

I'm not even going to get into the flavor, all I can say is that if you want flavorful matcha with a nice green color� this isn't it� they must be using very old or low quality tea. I knew it would be hard to use with a pouch so I wanted to use the can and this pouch was MESSY. The seal wasnt intact so when I closed it, it exploded everywhere. The matcha itself is the worst I've ever had. The powder color is dark but when you make it, it's DARK. Like brown green. It should be a bright green. I figured it's just low grade but it tastes very bitter and hardly has matcha flavor. It cannot be drank as a latte cuz all you'll taste is milk and if you add too much powder it's just super bitter. I'll drink this with sweeter iced with no milk. It's probably the best way. (I only tried this brand because I've had their tea leaves before and it wasn't bad. My normal matcha shops were out of stock but now I'm not sure of this brand anymore).

So far I've found that prices are a bit high and flavors, colors, and textures have been inconsistent. I had given up on Matcha for about a year until a friend made me an iced vanilla Matcha latte, using Organic Full-Leaf Matcha from TROT. We have a WINNER! Good silky texture and depth of color. Good flavor that is tasty for multiple uses. I love it in custard, tea, smoothies, salad dressing, etc. AND, the price is much more affordable than most!

This shopper rated the product 2 out of 5 stars I picked this up because I was fatally curious. After trying it, I would say this is culinary level matcha, not ceremonial. Red flag #1: the color is off, it's browner than fresh matcha. Red flag #2: it's terribly bitter. Yes, matcha does have a hint of bitter, but this was just awful stringent bitter. I couldn't drink it on its own, and I drink black coffee and black tea with no cream or sugar. I can handle bitter. Red flag #3: Republic of Tea doesn't say on the packaging when the tea for their matcha was picked. When asked how soon to drink it, they responded with 2 years... I don't know about other kinds of tea, but matcha ought to be drunk within a year of its harvesting. I'm kinda worried how old this matcha is if they think matcha can be kept (after who knows how long on the store shelf) for two years. All that to say. If you just want a matcha tea flavor to your baked goods or your lattes, go for it. Just don't drink this stuff on its own. It's not a good experience.

I tried this one and the matcha chai from this site. The chai is a little too crazy and not as delicious, but a fun idea. After trying other organic matcha (for a much higher price than this when you consider the bulk price), this is the one I always want to pull out. It is smoother, smells amazing, has a very fine powder that blends the best, and even a hint of sweetness. I have to finish the others I bought but I'll be buying this one in bulk in the future. Even my husband loves it!

Only issue is i think the image is misleading, because if your not paying attention to the listing the image makes it look like you are getting a whole container full of matcha but really you are just getting about a quarter of the container filled. I get, matcha is expensive so the price is really good for what you get.

What this really is, I believe, is culinary grade matcha. I'm sure within the culinary grade, this is as fine as it gets, but regretfully I was looking for matcha to drink on a daily basis, and this is not that. The colour is very pale and dull The flavour is unbalanced It's not easy to whisk But by all means put this product into your matcha cookies. But taking into account the the price per ounce, I would say that you can purchase online far better quality for a lower per ounce price.

To me, and I know this is very subjective, it has a mint note that makes it a little different from my preferred brand. Not a bad thing, just not for me. This little bit of ceremony is a nice introduction to the morning when I usually drink this tea. I drink it with and without a little hemp milk added.

It is delicious with spearmint tea added to it for a refreshing summer iced tea. My 12 year old loves it most with some lemonade to make iced matcha lemonade.(Like Starbucks) We can't go without it as this is our #1 favorite tea! We drink it almost daily! Highly recommend!

If you are making a latte or mixing then it might be okay, but for this price one should expect a higher grade ceremonial matcha. This is very expensive for the quality.
