I didn’t know what to expect since I’ve never tasted a flavored tea before but I am definitely going to have to get more I only drink tea so to have something a little different from the normal tea is the greatest.

I’ve tried it with and without milk, but it’s just very difficult to get past the artificial flavor that comes from what I believe to be the abundance of Stevia. Such a shame because gingerbread is truly one of my favorite flavors, especially for a tea.

It gives a wonderful flavor of Christmas cookies without all the butter and calories from eating too many of them. Instead of scarfing down desserts, I can sip Christmas slowly and really relish it. The only problem is that this tea is sold only in the tins and not the bulk refill bags. I have to wait all year long and pray that it will be available for the next season as soon as I run out, unlike what I do with Pumpkin Spice and Comfort & Joy.

However, there's just too much; the tea gets cloying. The flavor is very pleasant, truly more reminiscent of gingerbread than straight ginger.

And stevia isn't easy to take when there's too much, unfortunately I just can't drink it so it will go to waste. I hope next year this tea comes with much less stevia. It's easier for us to add our own sweetener.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I have to express disbelief at any reviews saying this tea doesn't taste like gingerbread. To me, it tastes EXACTLY like gingerbread. In fact, I could tell the flavour was spot-on just by the aroma. Now, the flavour isn't too strong, so if you really want something gingery, I'd suggest brewing it stronger than usual. It also has stevia in it, but I'm happy to report that the sweetness is very mild. I don't sweeten my tea and am normally wary of pre-sweetened blends, but this is just lovely. So warming and perfect for the holiday season. I can't wait to have a cuppa with some actual gingerbread!

Other reviews have stated the taste is weak, I drink my tea with two pouches in 12 Ounces of water, and found the flavor to be just right. If you are looking for in for face ginger & spice, this is not the tea for you. But if you are looking for a mild, warm cup of tea that will help you relax at the end of a long day, this is SO the tea for you!!

I've also tried it with honey and milk, but then the cup just tastes like honey or milk water. I wouldn't buy this again, and I'm not sure what I'll even do with the rest of the tea bags.
