For me the cacao and cinnamon compete with the normally full bodied pu'erh and the result is like mud in my mouth. Sorry, Republic of Tea. I love so many of your teas but this one not at all.

R of T came through for me with this light, sweet, warm cinnamon roll in a cup. Sweeten it with Monk Fruit or Stevia and let it work it's magic.

I have never had Pu-Erh tea but it is so good with the hint of chocolate and cinnamon in it. I think the DE 111 probiotic in it will be very beneficial to my gut issues and regularity as well. I expect more health benefits as time goes on. Just getting started with this version but having investigated the benefits of DE 111, I will start drinking this every day. I see me using this long into my future. Please Republic Of Tea, do not ever stop selling this tea. It may very well be my holy grail.

It is usually a mix of two different teas. Recently I'm mixing an English Breakfast tea, and the Organic SuperDigest Cacao Cinnamon Pu-erh Tea. I love cinnamon and I love the taste of cinnamon in the morning tea. I love the benefits of it helping with digestion. I love drinking Pu-ehr tea. This is a fabulous tasting tea. I have drunk the Organic SuperDigest Cacao Cinnamon Pu-erh Tea as a standalone tea in one cup of tea. It too was wonderful. I just prefer to mix teas for the tea pot in the morning.

I'm not sure what I most impressed with however... its probiotic properties, its tantalizing taste, its incredible ingredients, its myriad of health benefits or... all the above! I think all the above. Cinnamon is an anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and beneficial for an ageing brain... all definitely desirable benefits of mine. Cacoa supports the brain, immune system and is high in magnesium... also all desirable benefits of mine. I am an active aging adult and as such can have issues with leg cramps and Restless Leg Syndrome. Magnesium helps arrest BOTH those for me and in a most deliciously delightful way. YAY!!! Not to mention, due to its fermentation and probiotic... what a combo of good-for-the belly and gut ingredients! So... like I said above... I'm impressed with all the above. Bravo ROT!!!

I have found that if I add heavy whipping cream, and a splash of chocolate stevia it is reminiscent of drinking a frappe, which I have given up. Is it exact? No, but it works. I love cinnamon and chocolate together, and I find that when I do drink this on a regular basis my gut is better. My only complaint and one that I have voiced to customer service is that this tea needs to be sold in the bulk bag!!

Nor is this a cinnamon tea, the cinnamon is barely detectable. It's just the right balance of flavor enhancers. Plus, it has billions of probiotics.

When I called to ask for assistance with another matter, the representative and I started talking tea (of course) and I mentioned that I was looking for a tea to help with digestion. She sent me some samples and this tea was one of them. Well, I fell in love! Similar to other reviews, I agree that the tea is a bit "earthy" in taste and not at all like drinking a cup of hot chocolate, then again, it is tea, after all. The flavor notes are perfect in my humble opinion and it does what it says, helps with digestion (a major plus versus taking medication). I, too, feel guilty recycling the containers and wish this tea came in a refill package as well; However, it won't stop me from purchasing the tea. Thank you RoT!

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars Pu-erh tea is one of my favorite types of teas. I love rich, earthy teas that don't have a lot of astringency. I met this tea pre-COVID and really liked it. Since then I am a regular drinker. The probiotics help with my digestion and reduced feelings of bloating. I also love the aged cacao and cinnamon as complementary ingredients that not only add delicious flavor, but also add thermogenic and glucose control advantages to the tea. I agree with some reviewers that that cacao flavor is significantly lighter than expected. It is definitely not as flavor-forward as say, Restore and Reset (rishi/cocoa). I wonder if the main difference is because the Super Digest has aged cacao and the Super Adapt Restore and Reset has cocoa powder (which may have a flavor closer to what most people think of when they hear chocolate)? I am not really looking for hot cocoa flavored tea, so I don't mind the subtle flavor. I bought this because I love the style of tea but don't always have time to use one of my yixing teapots and brew full leaf. I also appreciate the probiotics and the fermented ingredients to bolster my immuno-digestive system. I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys full strength black tea that never gets bitter and the side benefits of the probiotics. My only request would be to sell this tea in a regular refill size instead of making people buy the tins over and over. I cannot reuse as many as I go through, so I feel guilty about single use tins when RoT sells so many other varieties in refill bags. Those refills along with the reduced waste from the round, tagless teabags are one of the key reasons why I have continued to drink RoT brand for the last 30 years.

The tea was truly a disappointment, which is not easy for me to say, since I am definitely a fan of Republic of Tea overall. There is something that tastes rather chemically about it, leaving a strange aftertaste. Especially after enjoying the Chocolate Peppermint Bark Tea from the past, I can't recommend this tea to others. Wish I could return for another tea, but alas, not refundable.

While I love Kombucha tea, I never really noticed an improvement in my digestion. I bought this tea while on vacation in Michigan and I HAVE noticed a difference. My digestive issues which consist mostly of frequent somewhat loose number 2's, is now greatly reduced. I never met a tea I didn't like but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this tea, from the taste to the benefits to my body. I have one tin at work and several at home so I never miss my morning Super Digest Tea. My only complaint is I wish this were sold in larger quantities, but that is a small thing... I highly recommend this tea!

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I don't drink a lot of tea and wanted to start eating and drinking healthy. I figured I can add more tea into my lifestyle and since I love chocolate, I figured....why not? This tea smells so good and tastes great. I'll be purchasing it again.
