The theme was primarily holiday & cold weather spiced teas. They were delicious high quality teas, however, as another reviewer noted, there was not enough variety of teas chosen, There was a bit too much flavor & style sameness. The Republic of Tea has a vast collection of wonderful teas from which to choose and round out this gift to create a broader sample selection for multiple preferences to provide even more enjoyment.

This shopper rated the product 3 out of 5 stars I bought this for my mother and myself. We're on different sides of the country and we have open a new tea every other day. It's fun to share different teas with her. I have 2 complaints. First there seems to be a lack of variety compared the all the amazing flavors available from Republic of Tea. Two teas were nearly identical with mint and chocolate. Three of the 12 teas were mint teas. British Breakfast Tea is a pretty basic tea to include in the set. My other "complaint" is the number of teas that were low or no caffeine. I like to have tea in the morning and need the caffeine to get my day started. If the reason for including so many low to no caffeine teas was for broader appeal, it might be better to just make two different sets, one with caffeine and one without, I'm not sure what the difference is between this set and the Hallmark Channel branded one, other than packaging. The lists of teas were the same. If there were 2 different sets, I might even buy them both just to have a full 24 days of new teas before Christmas. Overall, I don't regret my purchase, but I wouldn't buy it again with the current configuration. There are some good teas that I really enjoyed and plan to buy more of so I can enjoy them all year.

The website was acting weird though, and I wasn't sure whether I'd receive everything I'd ordered. I prepared myself so well for disappointment that I didn't dig down all the way in the shipping box when it arrived! That's right, this 12 Days of Sipping set almost when into my recycling bin -- major oops. But I stuck my hand down to the bottom, through the packing filler material as my other hand was holding the box and about to toss it into my wheely bin. Guess what?! Tea Set inside! YAY! There are caffeinated and decaf teas in it. A great variety of flavors. A fully recyclable box. What more could I ask for? It's great!

They were thrilled to have a specific thing to open And taste every day ( along with Advent calendar s) . Not all the teas were a hit with everybody every day but overall all found teas to their taste. Since I eat with them every night they saved the wrapper for me so I would know what that days tea was.
