This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I love rose, so I'm always looking for a tea that tastes primarily of rose without other flavors becoming dominant or too acidic, like hibiscus. This is the perfect mellow rose tea. I couldn't really taste the saffron, but I'm not sure I've ever been able to taste saffron in anything, so it may be adding complexity behind the scenes or something. Best rose-centric yea I've found!

I personally didn't get a sense of the saffron, but saffron a delicate and sweet herb in my experience, so I can see the rose overtaking it. Sipping on this tea, the floral notes would persistently stay in my nose, even after finishing a cup. I like a little rose once in a while, but this blend was too much for me. If you are a big fan of strong florals, this is the drink for you! But for me, I daresay, it was not my cup of tea.

This shopper rated the product 2 out of 5 stars That's what my kids used to say as toddlers when I introduced a less than favorite food; "I can't like it." I'm afraid the same is true for ROT's Saffron Rose. I wanted so much to like this tea and I was excited for the sample pack to arrive. I enjoy both elements on their own- saffron and rose. Unfortunately, this one misses the mark for me. It borders on flavorless and weak. I recently purchased ROT's full leaf Rose Petal black tea, and that leans a bit towards the weak side. For reference, I am generally not fond of very strong tea, so these both surprised me. Still, for the win, I do very much appreciate the opportunity to buy the smaller sample packs. My budget doesn't allow for such pricey tea, but ROT keeps me coming back. I look forward to finding a winner or two in my next few samples.
