I wasn't sure at first but now I love it and drink several cups a day with such regularity that I've become a subscriber!

I know there is a mini tin in the chai set, but I can’t have tea with caffeine so buying a set that contains two caffeinated teas for a tiny tin is a waste. Please Republic of Tea, make a tin for this tea so I can add it to the shelf with all of my other Republic of Tea tins!

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I am not even sure now many times I have bought this. I hope it never gets discontinued. I dont even like carob, and I can't get enough of this tea. It has so much dimension, and such a comforting and full flavor, and is unique without being off putting or odd. Herbal and yet could mask as real tea with how much earthy flavor it delivers. My husband thinks it smells a bit medicinal in the canister, but once he tried it a few times, he likes it too. We are going through this one and Coconut Cocoa very fast this winter!

She encouraged me to try a cup, and finally after much hesitation I did. I was really surprised. I tasted the chocolate (carob) and other chai spices, making it not too earthy (just pleasantly so) and surprisingly good. Plus the healthy benefit of the reishi mushroom powder is a great positive. Would consider buying this for me too!

I was immediately worried because the small emanating from the bag was... unpleasant. Nevertheless, I persisted, and made myself a cup with some milk. And my concerns were alleviated! A nice subtle (but present!) chocolate flavor with chai spices and a very subtle earthiness added by the mushrooms. The bags are a tad weak, but the flavor is a very nice and comforting flavor. Good with a tiny bit of honey, too.

The smell was a bit off-putting but it tastes really wonderful. I don't detect mushroom at all. It's a very rich, smooth flavor. The spices are lovely and balanced, sometimes cinnamon can overwhelm the other flavors in chai but not this one. It will be a very cozy cup of tea this Fall..if I still have any left.
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars For many years, I lived a mile or so from a fabulous Nepalese restaurant, with chai to die for. I've always hoped to find something similar in teabag form, and the Bold Green Chai and Bold Black Chai are the closest I've experienced. This tea (which comes in the stackable tin with the aforementioned) is a nice alternative for when you don't need the caffeine. It's got a similar flavor to the other two--a fair amount of cardamom that's not overpowered by cloves and pepper--but is a bit more earthy. I like it with steamed milk, no sweetener needed (caveat: if Oregon Chai or Starbucks' chai is your idea of chai, you probably will want to add some sweetener). The only bad thing about this tea is that I can't get it in its own tin!

The tea bags are VERY small, and only for 6 oz of water, not even a full 8 oz cup, and if you like a splash of milk in you tea, you either have to use even less water, or have very weak tea. I can not recommend this tea, because I like a strong flavored tea. So combined with the fact you have to use two tea bags, and there are only 36 bags, it makes it an expensive cup of tea for the price.

It's chai with a chocolatey twist and some health benefits of mushrooms. How could you go wrong? Add a touch of stevia, a splash of milk and a cozy blanket, I'm set!

I'm so glad I brought this herbal into my life as the nights are getting cooler. Feels like comfort and contentment when I sip this special treat. I love cinnamon, and this provides the cinnamon I crave. It'll be difficult not to choose this every evening for my winding-down sip-on.

Someone commented about the powder in the bag…I use it in my tea. It's extra cacao powder. And extra chocolate never hurt anyone ;-).

It feels like I should be able to put it in a bag of my own. It seems like RofT should do that for customers. As with another tea I like, it is not a deal breaker...mostly annoying and concerning.

The flavor is deep and clean. I add this to my chocolate chai to round out the best flavor. I love this tea.
