This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars A friend of mine was served this tea at Bleu Provence in Naples, a very very lovely restaurant and she could not stop raving about it. Raving about iced tea! So I googled, knowing it was Darjeeling and found it at the Republic. I do wish there were tea bags or loose tea. I ordered 12 bottles and, believe me, I don't care about the shipping cost, it's just so heavy to pick up at the doorstep since the bottles are glass. I'm sure this precious tea is much better in glass than plastic. Gave six to my friend and tried to savor my six but in Florida I was wanting one every hour. I will be ordering more. How can i describe how good it is?

I got the sampler case to try also, along with my own case of Darjeeling.. Told them they can visit and pay me to drink a bottle, lol.

I don't have a problem on any other website. Don't have time to call in an order. Their loss. I used to buy cases of Orange Blossom White Ice Tea monthly before they stopped bottling it. :(

I would rather pay more and get what I am accustom to than to get 1/2 the size as a surprise. You will not get another order from me.

It is so light but flavorful and has just a hint of citric acid that makes it taste wonderful. No one makes it this good, and I have tried several others. I have waited months for it to back on the market - please don't let it go out of stock again!

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars Begrudgingly tried the Republic Darjeeling Black at a Todd English's Blue Zoo in Orlando. Bottled tea at a fine restaurant? I was shocked that they'd even offer me a bottled tea. The server told me he'd pay for the bottle if it was anything less than perfection. Needless to say, I paid for it. I'm an iced tea lover above all other beverages. I was astonished. I should also mention that I prefer sweet tea to unsweetened. The flavor profile of this tea is so smack-you-in-the-face complex and satisfying that I never once desired sugar. I was on this website and ordered a case the next day. It's that good. I know, I know, it's not cheap. But perfection has a cost. Tell 'em Mike sent ya.

Stuff is far from inexpensive, but as a treat to oneself or for someone who appreciates a good iced tea, then it's worth the price. I also buy the full leaf Darjeeling tea by the bag, but this pre brewed bottled stuff is awesome!

I used to buy it by the case and because it's in glass bottles, the shipping cost isn't cheap. Still, treat yourself. It will spoil you for any other unflavored black iced teas. No sugar added, no sugar needed. Sublime, refreshing taste. Highly recommended!
