Living a sugar-free life, the introduction of sweetened tea with monk fruit was a joy for me…in some circumstances since I don't like all teas sweetened. This particular tea, tropical green tea, I found to be borderline repulsive. Perhaps it was the batch I had? I've never had bad tea from ROT before. NEVER. One sip and all I tasted was green tea and a perfume-like chemical. Yuck! I threw out the entire pot and canister. What a waste! I don't mean to stop you if you like green tea. As I mentioned, perhaps I just caught a bad batch.

It's fresh, sweet taste is mostly pineapple, with a hint of passion fruit and sweetness from the monk fruit, which is new to me. The tea has a distinctive sweetness, but it does not taste like artificial sweetener.
This shopper rated the product 2 out of 5 stars The green tea is lovely when brewed at the standard, lower temperature required for green teas. The sweet is there, as advertised. The aroma may be overpowering when sniffing the newly opened can, but it brews up nicely. Serving size leaves much to be desired. I expected a glass pitcher, what I got was a single carafe. The main issue is the instructions leave this tea watered down and a flavor that is a bit "washed out". At one quart/carafe, reducing the recommended water does not leave a fridge-able carafe of iced tea but maybe 2 glasses. In my region, one serving of iced tea is a 12-16oz ball glass jar. At which point one has to raise eyebrows at the price for 12-16 glasses of iced tea. If you don't mind the price at the required reduced quantity to taste the flavor, then have at it. This tea was the most flavorful of the 4 I purchased.
