I can’t taste the lemon balm or chamomile… the natural flavor is there but not noticeable… slightly disappointed as I love republic tea.

The taste and aroma is more complex than other tea blends for sleep. We were sad to find it hard to buy Rest in store recently and had to use other kinds. There really is a stark difference in blends and flavors that doesn’t satisfy us. We missed it! I bought a large supply of Rest direct from Republic of Tea. We’ll be set for a few months now!

I didnt think I would miss it when i got home but it became such apart of my routine I sent my husband to pick me some up and he came back with this. I absolutely HATE the calm app, it gives me so much anxiety so i was no excited to try the tea. But im so glad i did. One of the best evening teas ive ever had. Its soothing, calming and helps me relax and calm my stomach. It truly does help me relax and get a good nights rest. I hate the app but i love this tea

He says it helps him calm his mind at night so that he can sleep. She's told me that usually within 15 minutes of him sipping on this tea, he's sound asleep. Nothing in the description online says it has French vanilla in it so it was very unexpected and very overwhelming when I took my first sip. This was not the relaxing lemony tea I was hoping for.

I drink a cup about an hour before bedtime and it does help me to get to sleep. the combination of Chamomile, Lemon Balm and Lavender teas makes it's aroma great and a smooth taste. I hate the taste of plain chamomile tea but the combination in this one is perfect for me.

It's flavor is lightly floral and slightly sweet with a touch of licorice. Perhaps my favorite aspect of the tea is the aroma, hints of vanilla, passionflower, lavender and lemon balm. It is just a yummy herbal tea. I like it any time of day but it really does make a great bedtime treat now that the nights are cool in the north woods of Wisconsin.

My only complaint is that they don't sell the 250-bag refill bags for this - I feel very wasteful not being able to just reuse the canisters!

I'm used to lavender being an almost ethereal floral scent (growing and using a lot of it, fresh and dried, myself), but I find the lavender note here being more like the processed one you find in commercial perfumes and room sprays. Not saying it seems fake, as there are many varieties with distinctly different smells. Just that I was surprised that it turned out to be so sweet and earthy, but not unpleasantly. The lemon balm does tone down the earthiness with its fresh, airy character (AND it helps with migraines). Plus, chamomile is a calming staple most people have already culturally accepted. Overall, a good functional blend here, but a caveat in case you had specific esthetic expectations.
