This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I decided to treat myself and bought this mug kit. Wow! I love it so much, I bought myself a second one to use when hosting a friend. This strainer is much better than the others as it has ample space for loose leaf to expand and it fits the cup better. I don't use the lid on top of the cup as much as I use it to place my wet strainer after brewing, which it so handy. And the cup's design is absolutely brew-tiful! Yay!

After receiving it I was going to gift it because it comes in a really nice box that’s as pretty as the cup….but I kept it?? I will buy another to keep for gifting, however. I love the strainer basket because it’s larger than average with a flat bottom. The lid is the only downside. It is large and rattles around on the too of the cup so it could easily fall off and break.

(I purchased both of the Van Gogh sets and couldn't be happier) Functionally, what really sold me was the matching lid to keep my tea hot and the nice sized additional strainer. If you're looking for a way to make your tea consumption a bit more elegant, I'd recommend this in a heartbeat.

It's delicate bone china, but breaks very easily (as my first one arrived shattered into a hundred pieces). The replacement has held up well, with gentle hand washing and less frequent use.
